Well it wasn't a thriller, definitely had a friendly feel particularly with the atmosphere but it's another match under their belt for the lads. We were pretty sharp first half, some nice moments in play but you could see other areas for us to improve. Second half was pretty dire but it's understandable given the number of changes and Everton hardly showed any ambition.
Disappointing result for the fans given the nature of the match, not sure why they didn't put on a penalty shoot out.

Not a bad idea actually to have a shootout especially since neither side seemed too interested in scoring from play and the man of the moment being subbed at around the 52nd minute.

I drove 6 hours to watch it. A penalty shoot-out would have been perfect!
