It would be a shame were he to leave the club. The man is a Man U legend, and I would love it if he were to remain and gain experience from our new manager... Maybe not as assistant coach but as under 21's. Part of me also wants him to try his skills at becoming a manager elsewhere because, no doubt about it, he is a future Man U manager.

If Warren Joyce leaves the U21 role (which I really hope he doesn't) I think that would perfekt for Giggs to manage his own team. We have to accept if Mou maintains with Rui Faria as his assistant and it doesn't make sense from the club to insinst Giggs has to be part of the staff. Godd if Mou wants him. I can understand if Giggs doesn't wnat to be Mou no. 3 and looks elsewhere to start his managerial career. He will always find open doors at United to come back . Everton seem to want him and that shouldn't be bad place for him. Obviously for us fans it will definately hurt to see him leave

I 'd like to see him leave and get a better job elsewhere and fuck the club off tbh.
El Cunto will do his rise, crash and burn routine for a couple of years and we'll be in the same position again. With a bit of luck Giggs is happy elsewhere and fucks them off again if they come sniffing, how I would laugh

If he has managerial aspirations then he simply has to up sticks and go elsewhere, though he could have a year or so under Mou which I don't think would do him any harm but there might not be enough of a gain either.
I don't really think the U21's is enough as a job, it's not the same as the Spanish B teams, better off finding a new club.

I hope he leaves too, only because I hope he comes back one day as a manager, but an experienced and hopefully successful one

Giggs hasn't looked like a potential manager to me the last 3 years. He's seemed too passive. If Nev was assistant to LVG you can guarantee he'd have had something to say about the style of football.

That's harsh, at the end of the day he's just doing his job, going against LVG would likely have meant him being shown the door and probably wouldn't do his future any favours either.
What has Nev contributed to England? Whys he not spoken out on dross served up by Woy etc. this is the type of pointless shit that gets thrown at Giggsy.

VG / Giggs relationship was Master and Apprentice, he was there to observe and learn, was never going to be any other way with VG, and probably his weakness and downfall.

I don't care what his role has been the last 3 years, the fact is the side has been absolute shite with him in his 2 roles and he doesn't for 1 second deserve to be considered for the United job in the future until he's proven himself managerially. In terms of the comparison with Neville, my point is that I don't believe that Neville would've sat there for 2 seasons watching the utter shite that has been served up without him at least saying something to LVG.
You also listen to the 2 guys speak and Neville sounds more like a manager than Giggs does. As I say, Giggs is too passive. Needs to grow a pair of testicles and go manage his own team. Only then will I look at him as a future United manager.

You don't know Giggs didn't say anything, by all accounts both him and Rooney said something and related team concerns. No2's job is exactly that, be the go-between and buffer between manager and players, plus coaching role, not dancing around on the touch line undermining your boss who doesn't want you to.
The only thing Nev did was take the plunge, which Giggs will have to do at some point now because the opportunity to get mentored by Fergie is now squandered and over.

I think it will be a smart move for his career and it will be pretty fun to watch him as a full time manager if he lands a job

Giggsy needs to Get Away. He needs real experience even if it is at a much lower level. Experience is trying your best, failing and getting back up on your bike. He was never, despite his service to the club to be an automatic successor. Being a Fantastic player does not mean you have managerial potential. Get out there and prove you can do it.

Seems like it's only a matter of time before they announce it officially. It will be interesting to see what he does next
