To be fair we could have won but deserved to be beaten,we were just awful at the back and Martial aside just as bad upfront,the less said about midfield the better.

Transfer wise we can't blame the board. Keeping VG for as long as we have they're as guilty as feckin sin. Woody should go back to being a numbers man and leave footballing decisions to someone who actually knows something about football.

The side needs leaders and characters in every area. Smalling is improved but not a defensive leader, our midfield has talent but no leaders and our attack is incredibly exciting but lacking an experienced figurehead.

VG has amassed a decent squad filled with potential and it's going great, but that's all it is, squad with players learning their trade in this league. CB and CM have never been addressed properly under Moyes or VG. Been no proper replacement for Rio / Vidic / Keane / Scholes - apart from Mike stepping up and being a man (and kudos to that mofo)
