Everyone struggled first half but yeah nothing went for him second either, really struggling, when he managed to beat someone he messed up the final ball and when he went through on goal it was straight at the keeper. He hasn't had a lot of game time though so I hope having the full 90mins will lift him as there is a very talented player in there and he did try to do the ugly stuff, short of confidence but not giving up.
Agree with Ed it is hard to watch but all we can hope is he learns and puts the summer break to good use, he needs a run of games next season but again I'm a little worried a new man may not give him the time of day.

I believe that Memphis is like an uncut diamond. It is obvious he has class BUT he is unable ti shine just yet. He should be kept in the team because there is something there that hasn't evolved YET.

He's had a long run of games and he was still shit so that has nothing to do with it. For me it's all down to attitude. Too many youngsters think they have made it when they make a big move. Instead of knuckling down and being 100% professional and try to improve they'd rather go out and buy flash cars, be seen all over the social networks and live off their 5 minutes of fame that got them to the top club in the first place. I wouldn't even blame VG (OK maybe a little ). Maybe his training methods are boring and regimented but a true professional would just get on with it and not sulk to the point where his game turns to shit. Maybe under a new manager he will enjoy the game again and we'll finally see the player we thought we signed but if he doesn't change his attitude he won't succeed.

He needs his balls squeezed, and, had SAF been there, he would have been a different player. Maybe Jose can polish him.

That was earlier on in the season though when he was adjusting to the league, he's been here 8 months or so now so should be getting acclimatised but he's in been in and out for the past few months, 20 or so minutes here and there which isn't enough. It is made harder with Martial being in front of him and he only wants to play from the left.
He played well against Arsenal but then was left out again as Martial came back, hard to build confidence without any consistency in selection.
I don't think he's been unprofessional, he might like his flash cars but not overly sulked for me, one or two games maybe but since then he's picked it up, does his bit defensively and has been less selfish in his play also. He is trying but just is really struggling with the demands of the league and maybe that is in part down to the system and manager.
It took Lamela three seasons to find his feet in the PL and now Spurs are starting to get the rewards, I'm not sure we'll be as patient though.

Missed this match - but was happy to see the three points in the bag Caught up on BBC live coverage and saw a comment ....... "Watching United is like watching the Groundhog Day movie .... but without the jokes" So judging by your feedback in here as well the only thing to take home from this was the win ................ and that LVG was able to give Blind a rest - didn't think he had it in him . 2 league matches left this season - Champions League destiny is now in our own hands .... not long to wait ...... nail biting end to the season our lads have to want it more than WHU on Tuesday night. God Bless Wenger for at least leaving that door open to us.

At least it's going to be an exciting end. Something to play for in every game. If we can somehow nick 4th spot off City I'll be fucking hysterical.
Please, please, please, please, please don't fuck this up!

Westham is the stumbling block. Their final game at Upton Park... they will definitely go for it.
