Think we'll manage this, it's West Ham we'll fuck up

Agree with that line up - put in Memphis at some point so he gets some playing time. I wouldn't be against Fosu-Mensah or CBJ starting if they are fit as well. One step at a time, Ed. It looks pretty unlikely that we'll make top 4 anyway, but we can just as easily fuck this one up as well - after all our worst defeats this season didn't come against top sides, but teams we should have been walking all over

Just cannot afford anything other than a win. City facing Arsenal and I think City are going to drop some points, we need to capitalize this and put more pressure on them.
No Fellaini actually works in our favour, would like to see Herrera in his place. Rojo should not get anywhere near the team.

Tricky game. Early kick off combined with the fact we're shit against lesser sides. Think we'll win but it'll be painful to watch at times. Late winner from Martial.

Tough game for sure. Norwich are fighting for their life and will be up for it. The good thing is they won't be able to park the bus as they have to get the points. I just wonder if: - LVG will be able to motivate the lads to compete with Norwich's certain hunger (judging how poor he is at that...) - we will be clinical enough so as to not waste the chances we will get: we have a very young frontline, and this is the kind of game where we can't afford to make those youth errors. I think this is potentially the toughest game left this season. Win it, and we may well set up the dynamics to save us from a poor season and reach that 4th spot instead of City who are in terrible shape ahead of a crucial game with Arsenal.
The good thing is Arsenal will want to win that game to mathematically guarantee their 3rd spot and avoid an unnecessary stressful end to the campaign. Besides, finishing 3rd also cement a CL spot, whereas 4th always puts up a tricky qualifying tie.

Lovely jubbly Struggled first half but controlled the second much better, we had a lot of changes so our play was unsurpringsly mismashed at times. Nicely worked goal with good play from Roo and a cool finish from Mata. 3 points, job done. Hope Martial is ok for Tues.

Appalling display but I'll take the 3 points and forget I had to watch the game by drinking myself into a coma.

Just want this season to be over with. Uninspiring against a shit team but an important 3 points. MOTM for me was Herrera who wasn't even in the starting line up until Martial injured himself in the warm up which again goes to show that VGs luck is holding so we probably will scrape 4th place.

Kind of enjoyed the second half after they burnt themselves out in the first.
No wankfest of football but I'll take it at this stage considering the side out today.

I honestly had more fun working on a Saturday than watching this game, I've only seen the highlights now and I think that will do. I'm glad we got the points though, even though at the end it might turn out to be for nothing. I fucking hate that we are dependant on other teams to lose so we might have a shot at top 4, rather than looking to win our own games.
A lot of criticism for Memphis - was he really that bad or just not fit enough?

No confidence I think is his biggest problem, he's just not enjoying his football at the moment. Grim to watch someone who should sparkle, struggle and labour so much. Certainly not to be relied on yesterday for a spark and I don't see it changing any time soon, you just hope a long Summer break works.
