Have to win this game if we want to maintain any outside hope of getting into the top 4. Villa are, in no uncertain terms, fucking shit. If we play with the same intensity as last night we win and win comfortably.
As for the team I'd keep it largely the same but get CBJ at left back instead of Rojo and Schneiderlin in midfield for Carrick. We have a midweek game next week as well though so it wouldn't surprise me to see him make 1 or 2 more changes. Rooney might find his way into the starting lineup somehow.

It's a good opportunity to boost goal difference if we do our job right, at least put us on par with WH.

It is but you just know we take our foot off the gas because of the quality of the opposition and scrape a 1-0. If we attack like we did Yesterday, they're liable to get absolutely hammered.

Villa are wank, so we should give them a pasting. I think we can afford a few changes in this one as well, Fellaini did well last night so I'd let him stay in but wouldn't surprise me to see Mata/Roo. Give Martial a rest as well. De Gea

we where decent i think except in the final third and our passing which was awful , there where some positives out of it overall though
Depay looked dangerous down the flank and is finally getting into it (still needs to pass more in the final third, 9/10 you won't get a shot in from outside the box with defenders on you)
Rooney was a workhorse in that midfield and did reasonably well on his return, still a bit rough (passing wasn't great and was looking for the long ball a bit too much, though the long ball to Valencia did get us an assist)
Mata was good but him being surrounded meant no killer ball into the final third for Rashford or someone else, passing again a bit wayward
Rashford being godly of course
Valencia was pretty good, not going to complain too much apart from some suspect crossing
overall aside from some loose passing we weren't terrible, Villa actually woke up and parked the bus. Bit irritated that they actually got 2 or 3 chances on goal, because we never should have given them 1 but it was solid
In saying that we still need to be better in the final third, we need pace on the wings if Rooney and/or Mata is playing behind Rashford. Valencia could be one of them, and maybe Martial cutting in is the other for the remainder of the season. Also passing, need to improve the passing
