Right back to the juicy stuff Everton up next after the derby win the other week which we need to build upon. We've generally been good at home and we've conceded the least goals at home so are hard to beat, we should come into this one confident but you don't really know what you'll get after an international break. Everton are a bit like us, underachieving and you don't know what you'll get, they have dire form at home but a good record away. They certainly aren't solid at the back though and will always give you chance. Same again from the Citeh match with maybe CBJ in for Rojo. De Gea, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, BJ, Schneiderlin, Carrick, Mata, Lingard, Martial, Rashford.

With the football that we're playing, I'm surprised I actually can't wait for this game, but there you go...
Agree Dave, we shouldn't change too much unless absolutely necessary. The next games would be crucial so hopefully the guys had a rest

Flick a coin in the air for this one. It's a reasonable time this fixture, 4pm, usually it's a dead early kick off and fucks our rhythm right up. Still, who the hell knows what you'll get from either side in this

Pretty clear we need to win and we could very well do so, Everton have been pretty bad by their standards this season, they looked fragile against Arsenal so we could do a similar thing with Rashford and Martial leading the line

Like your team Ed .....but have a feeling herrera will be switched for mophead ......... against his old club .....And will LVG sit Mata out ? Can't wait nice to play at home and think we will take 3 comfortable points

Oh I have no doubt VG won't pick it, but you can but dream.
Fellaini no longer plays at the club as far as I'm concerned. I shall report the club to the FA and police if I see him on the pitch

Everton are a poor man's Arsenal, very weak and insipid. If we're remotely on our game I have no doubt we'll win this one.

Agree with everyone else. If we turn up with desire, and an 11 with no weak links (I'm talking Fellaini), then we should get a good win here. Slightly worried about the Lukaku threat, but not much else. I'm going with a 3-1 win.

Manchester United v Everton, Super Sunday, 4pm, Sky Sports 1 HD
If Man City don't win on Saturday then this is a big game for United, but it depends what Everton side turn up - they are a real bag of revels. We are at that stage of the season where teams like West Ham and United have to win to challenge for the top four. Draws are no good, so they need to have a go for it.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-1

rach1986 - I think Paul had a sneaky look at my prediction and decided that to back the expertise of a 3.33 winner ! At home to the toffees we should just about shave this one but it will not be a push over. At least 80% of the on-field players will need to be close to 100% of their ability and desire to win. ( Not sure who Paul is but it has got Garfunkel to do with him anyway .... ) !

I'll take that! It weren't pretty but it keeps us in touch. The goal was superb, from the ball out to Mata, his classy control and the 3 young guys combining brilliantly to finish the move off.
I thought Smalling was predictably a beast again, loves playing against these strong aggressive strikers. In fact I thought the whole defence was bob on besides a 10 minute spell in the 2nd half, Blind read the game well and Darmian/Mensah did what they needed to do.
Schneiderlin was good again. Goes about his business quietly but does the job he is there to do and is growing into his role here.
Really impressed with Rashford again. He didn't get a lot of chances but he never stopped running but he produced a couple of moments of great linkup play including the goal. I'm also really impressed with how strong he is, he's so good at holding he ball up, rarely gets dispossessed.
