Rashford rightly won motm but there were some other quality displays in there.

Varela has been an absolute revelation, tenacious, brilliant crosser, quick, great going forward and he's a great tackler. He's still a little rash at times but hopefully that will ease off. I really think our right back search has ended before it's begun, him and Darmian would do me fine.

I also thought the 2 central midfielders did really well. I said Schndierlin had to bring his A game and he did, swept up everything and pressed them with success most of the time. I think Herrera was outstanding, completely run his self into the ground. This has to be our cm pairing going forward for me.

Memphis was very poor though, showed that he can't do it against the better opposition.......................................................Only joking, I thought he was superb. Bellerin struggled with him all afternoon, he kept hold of the ball well, did his job defensively, showed a few tricks, run at players and above all he was unpredictable. The most worrying thing this season has been how easy full backs defend against him, they seemed to be able to predict his every move whereas today they really couldn't handle him. Hopefully he keeps it up.
