Been saying this since last season... LVG sucked. we will be saying and complaining about the same things again in the next match. Just get rid of him.

lol. This is what gets me, people moan when players get played out of position instead of letting a youngster fill in. Yet when we do that it goes the other way, Love is a full back playing at full back and he did fine for his first appearance in the PL, confident on the ball and made some attacking moves. Our defence/midfield was all over the place but let's stick it on the debutant, he wasn't the one losing his man on a corner. We are out of options, who else should we be playing there? Where were Martial and Rooney in that second half? At least Memphis had a go and worked the keeper. Collectively we were dreadful but it's the subs fault. oh pretty much the whole backline (jackson aside) had a shocker. they all may as well have not been there for the most part. Rooney was freaking hopeless and i agree Martial didn't do much in the second half after his goal (though that may also be due to Van Gaal messing about and bringing on Memphis for some reason)

Yeah I don't think he should've bought Memphis on. Purely because he's done nothing to deserve it. Whilst someone like Pereira can not get a fucking sniff, despite doing everything to deserve it.

Well Memphis it was, something needed to change and Martial wasn't exactly pulling up tree's on the left so switching him to the right trying his luck elsewhere not a huge issue for me. Memphis always plays from the left so that should be no surprise, he did well for the u21's the other day and he's an attacking sub.
Pereira deserves a shot but we were losing a physical battle, Lingard was getting knocked about and getting nothing, we struggled to get the ball into Mata as it was... Herrera possibly would have been better but he's done nothing of late either.
The midfield let us down, Carrick was dreadful and Schneiderlin looks a shadow of himself and Smalling as well, yesterday and Wolfsburg, crucial games he goes missing. They say all the right things, cups finals etc. but when it comes down to it haven't been good enough. Not for the first time when the going gets tough they disappear.

What pissed me off the most is knowing the players are good enough. We've seen some pretty promising signs this season only for it to go to shit in a short space of time. It's a mixture of the players not turning up and VG not having a clue what to do when we need to change tactics. We need a manager who is on the sidelines screaming instructions when the players decide to take the day off, which is all too frequent. Also a manager who can see what needs to be done on the pitch and does it. How it looks to me is the players are bored out of their heads during the week in training (still no excuse) and that's brought on to the pitch match day. A shake up is definitely needed but VG doesn't seem capable of producing it. Which is pretty obvious. Pointless decision to struggle on to the end of the season only for a new manager to come in and start over. We all know it's going to happen and I think the only thing stopping it is Eds ego. It may have seemed a good idea at the time but he did get this one wrong and the sooner he admits it the sooner we can kick on.

We haven't seen it on consistent basis though.
I don't disagree that we need change but there are very few options right now.
