I'm thinking Falcao... which I'm completely against. Unless he takes out Mata and puts in Rooney behind Falcao and RVP I just don't see it happening. Especially against City.

Yeah Fellaini has to keep his place. Great sub appearance against West Brom and did a good job at keeping Cesc quiet last week aswell as looking good going forward. He looks a completely different player but he needs to keep it up.

If Rooney or Falcao doesn't play I would like to see Herrera in 3 man Midfield, Going by the current form we cannot drop Fellaini and Blind is very important for the team, so cant drop both of them... So Herrera has to sit on bench imo

Rooney is fit, Falcao ruled out. I'd go with De Gea Rafa Smalling Rojo Shaw Blind Herrera Di Maria Fellaini Rooney RVP Another positive is that the team was so hard to pick as there are plenty of options and I'll undoubtedly change my mine before kick off on Sunday. Think Adnan may be better left on the bench for this one. Think we'll need another body in cm which is why Herrera comes into the equation. Fellaini has earned his place and I see no reason to drop him.

Apparently Falcao, Januzaj, and Fellaini all missed training today...

He says Fellaini has been very good and needs to continue to perform well, Rooney was never injured and Falcao is definitely out. Not heard anything of Januzaj.

Just twitter people looking at the training pictures and noticing who's not in the frame.

The Rooney injury was always nonsense. They did a commercial launch day on Monday or Tuesday and I think one paper said Rooney 'appeared to have a bit of a limp,' since then it's been, "Rooney MAJOR doubt for derby."

I think you have to put Fellaini in, he's currently hitting a bit of form, and you have pick based on form. I'd go for something similar to that above, even if it does seem a little narrow, basically the Chelsea line up again for me. We can definitely get something from this game, City have not been at it, but when it comes to derby day, all previous results are almost irrelevant, the same feeling I get when we play Liverpool.

Do you think Angel is more useful in the midfield or cutting in from the wing?

I feel against teams with a strong midfield he may be better cutting in from the wing. What wing though I'm not sure, he can certainly play right and left, many times you've seen him cut onto his left foot and curl one in for Real, but then we may miss the width he provides when playing on the left. As I said, I maybe tempted to go the same as the Chelsea game, have him on the right and Januzaj on the left.

Januzaj did link up really well with Shaw...
