Well he did get a goal for himself yesterday... Yes and an assist ................and what a great goal it was too - beautiful  But he needs to produce this more regularly - LVG sees it - we all see it If anyone can get the best out of RVP my money would be on LVG - let's hope this is just the beginning |

That sentence, old cliche yes but one of the biggest truths ever said. That two legged tackle on him last night, he was extremely lucky not to get ruined for a long time and Mane (it was him?) extremely lucky for getting just a yellow. To be fair though, the ref had some mare nightmare decisions during the whole game, not just this one. |

Best performance I've seen from him all season by far. That's three goals and an assist in two games... let's hope he continues.

Unless they're planning a surprise farewell party, I don't see a reason. They rarely put in the price anyway, so a simple "Van Persie has left the club and we'd like to thank him for the 20th title" would have been sufficient.
