On 1 September 2014, Manchester United agreed to sign Falcao on loan with an option to sign permanently, He made his debut at Old Trafford on 14 September, playing the final 23 minutes of a 4–0 win over Queens Park Rangers in place of Juan Mata.

I never wanted Manchester United to be second to anybody. Only the best would be good enough

So are we worried yet that he has been out for a couple of weeks now and no mention of him returning ? we could do with him getting some of the chances that fell our way lately

I wouldn't say worried - I'm slightly irritated that he's not playing but that's about it. I'd be happy if Wilson gets a chance against Palace though

This injury is just a calf problem... I don't think it's at all serious.

Depends who you read lol - Daily Fail version Louis van Gaal fears Premier League could be too physical for injured Radamel Falcao Falcao has scored just once since moving to Old Trafford on loan Striker is injured with a thigh problem and has started just three games United have deal in place to sign Falcao permanently but will want to see improvement before they commit to big-money move The 28-year-old is nursing a thigh problem he picked up in training ahead of the game against Chelsea last month. He has scored once this season and Van Gaal and his coaching staff know they will have to see a vast improvement on that return if Falcao is to justify his big wages between now and the summer. United cannot afford to commit to a long-term contract that would cost them more than £1million a month in wages on a player who will be 29 in February unless they are sure he is up to it. They are keen to recruit a world-class goalscorer in the summer, but will not have the budget to sign Falcao full-time and then pay big money for another centre forward. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2821086/Louis-van-Gaal-fears-Premier-League-bee-physical-injured-Radamel-Falcao.html#ixzz3IBjGeRvA

On another forums, people started to write him off...
Don't know what to say...
I know he had that bad injury and that many players are not exactly the same after suffering them but writing him off so early, when he hasn't played even one full match yet is just premature.

Having a permanent deal at the end of the season depends on his performance and his fittness level over the course of the season. The board obviously want return on investment. For me its still pardonably early...so let's look at ending of the year to know if he has a future here or not

I hope he can put in a consistent run of games and leave behind those injuries. I really want this transfer to work out.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30372378Van Gaal says Falcao is only fit enough to play for 20 minutes and that he doesn't care if Falcao is happy playing a substitutes role. I'm starting to feel less confident that this deal will turn permanent at the end of the season. He's really going to have to get and stay fit and produce when he gets the opportunities.

Obviously there's no way of knowing what's Van Gaal thinking of Falcao's future, but it could be interpreted that he's willing to play him even if he's not 100% fit. I'd take the glass half full approach

He said it'd be better to play him in the second team... now that's a reserve game I wouldn't miss for anything.
