ISimple question. Does Di Marias name deserve to appear on the forum? I don't believe it does, especially in the hall of fame.
He started off brightly and every player can suffer a loss of form, especially playing in a new league but why i believe he doesn't belong here is simple. Attitude.
I can forgive players like Veron who although wasn't successful at the club at least put the effort in to succeed. It's almost as if someone from PSG said to Di Maria before christmas, play badly and we'll get you on the cheap next summer.
Very rarely have i seen a player from any league play with so little heart and coming from a "superstar?" it makes it even more embarrassing.
For me his name should be forgotten for all time.

I'd delete him from memory and pretend he never played for us. Compare him and Falcao. Falcao was beyond wank but gave 150% every game and you could tell he desperately wanted to succeed and felt privileged to be at the club. Noodle bastard is a spineless cunt who gave no effort for most of his career here.

He is still a past player and should I suppose be still included in forum chats, but as for the Hall of Fame  , he certainly gets nowhere near this level for me. Particularly for his attitude towards us. |

We gave him too much time to fit and adapt. He was brilliant for us during the first 2-3 months. By December he was already utter shite but lvg sticked with him until he got himself sent off. If we had played herrera, wookie and mata much earlier and drop the bastard argie noodle we would have been 2nd or 3rd.

He played for us for a season, I'd just delete the thread. Or post a barrage of offensive memes and gifs about him.

Well he played for us and wore the number 7 shirt I'm thinking we should record it because like it or not it happened Definitely not as a member "Hall of Fame" Maybe we could have Past Players - The Flops - this is where he belongs |

Quite frankly I feel he deserves all the flak he's been given and then some. We've had far, far, far worse players than him sign for us. Every single one of them, less him had one thing in common. They might not of been technically brilliant but at least they put in the effort to try and make it.
Di Maria is nothing but a mercenary of the very highest order. He didn't show the club or it's supporters any respect with most of his performances last season and his parting shots are just the icing on the cake.
If I never hear his name again it will be too soon. Disgrace of a player.

I think he should be recognized, good or bad he is now a part of our history. I didn't know where else to put it, that's why I put him in the Hall of fame thread, but if you guys want, we can make one "Former players" or something like that. It doesn't necessarily have to say "Flops" since there could be a number of opinions there

So what's been decided? As we live in a democracy he should be forgotten for all time. If people still really want to see his name appear I like Jamies idea of a take the piss meme type of thread hidden somewhere in the miscellaneous section. Or in a former players section. But please take him out of the hall of fame.
