I never wanted Manchester United to be second to anybody. Only the best would be good enough

We are, we do, we're having a new world class CB.
You might also be having a new RB yet, or you might see someone promoted from within to go with Valencia.

the caps rage is strong in this one
anyway we are, bit strange that the Otamendi rumblings quietened down.
Its clear we need a right back, if for no other reason, Rafael is guaranteed to go down sometime during the season, and i ain't confident that Valencia makes it the whole season. Unfortunately not too many good RB's on the market, we could get Carvajal off of Madrid but they'll turn it into a De Gea sort of deal

I said when Fergie was still in charge, that we should have bought Coleman from Everton, and we would have only paid £5 million. But of course, the "great" man would'nt move, preferring to stick with the kamikaze Rafael, who he predicted would become one of the best full backs in the world!!! That and letting Pogba go for zilch rank as Ferguson's worst decisions in charge of Utd.

Coleman wasn't the better player when Fergie was there though, and not for what Fergie wanted and the way he played. LVG is a different kettle of fish altogether.
Pogba has been done to death here, but if you are hell bent on leaving because your agent is blowing smoke up your arse agitating for a move then so be it, absolutely nothing anyone could do about it. Pogba at the time wasn't up to a full time role as senior midfielder, despite what his ego and agent said. If he was, Scholes would never have come back and got a look in.
Kid has a massive ego and is only just beginning to back that up with real world performances - also has a notorious cunt for an agent, who happens to be Italian.
Welcome aboard, btw.
