Dear lord, I thought I fucked something up and moved this thread to the transfer section... alright moving all posts in the relevant one.

I was impressed with him today. In a situation where all our other recognised attackers are out, he stepped up. I think due to the opposition in question, I'd rate today's game as his best all round display in a United shirt.

frustration to watch what he does on and off the field. Something needs to change but I don't like any player to be sold after just a season. More than once we saw a player come back better for the 2nd season, most recently Luke Shaw. Be patient, he has all the potential to become a world beater.

Weird one on Mcnair's part then. Surely you'd have gone on loan for a year and came back to see if you stood a chance in the first team.

Very strange, but maybe he decided he won't get a proper chance with Valencia, Darmian and Fosu-Mensah all in front of him. Or in midfield for that matter.
As for Memphis, it's all up to him now, I'd imagine having players like Pogba and Ibrahimovic around you can only improve you if you're willing to learn. Hope he comes good.

As for Memphis, it's all up to him now I don't know if it's just me, but I think I've already spotted more aggressivity and desire in his play yesterday. Obviously we didn't get too much too see from him yesterday, but his runs were incisive, determined and he wasn't letting himself getting easily bullied. I am curious too see how it turns out for him. But I won't lose any sleep if he ends up being the next Quaresma because we have so much quality now with the addition of Pogba, Zlatan or Mkhitaryan, but also with the emergence of Lingard who imo is going to have a great season and a great career here. I've always liked what I saw of him, and it seems he has now reached yet another level, with more composure and "reliability" added to his game.
