www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/09/18/ander-herrera-still-feels-valued-jose-mourinho-despite-limited/Herrera still feels valued. “I feel as important as I did last season,” he said. “I am a team player and I always say that and if the manager decides to keep me on the bench I will be ready. I said that last season and it is the same now. I know how lucky I am to play for Manchester United. I will try to enjoy every minute I have on the pitch. I want to win titles and feel part of the team and feel important and I really do feel important because the manager makes me feel important.” “When I see Nemanja, Felly or Paul of course it is a motivation for me. My team-mates make me a better player and I think I make them better players. This is a team and when I retire I want to be remembered in this club. This is the way I have to follow. I work hard on the pitch and in training every day and I will never regret my time here.” He's a class act our Ander

Has Castles gone back to hating us now From what Ander has said he’d like to stay and it seems to be a matter of wages, from the reports we are offering around 170k and PSG 200k. I love him but he’s not getting any younger and we’ve probably had his best years, we shall see if we find an agreement, if not then it’s another player to replace but I trust Ole. PSG wouldn’t touch Mourinho and Mourinho was never really keen on Herrera, think he was just being nice and respectful there.

Can't blame him for walking out on us for a last ever mega contract and an easy life in France.
Ed and the shitheads let this happen for their own warped financial logic. Trouble is, Herrera is exactly the right fit for the fight we are now in and his dark arts / shithouse tactical know-how is hard to find these days. Plus he's been chronically misused here, same with Blind and the rest of the decent players we've wasted.
Good luck to him, I'll certainly miss that character on the pitch.

Ander Herrera takes swipe at Man United chiefs as Spanish midfielder reveals move to PSG was culture shock
Herrera has suggested in an interview football wasn't the main focus at United It will be seen as a swipe at Ed Woodward and United's commercial ambitions
And I say it sincerely because sometimes, seen from the outside, PSG can have a glamorous side that can irritate some. But here we sweat, we train, we work!
'When I arrive at the training centre, the physios, podiatrist and physical trainer are already at work... Football, football, football.'
As a follow-up question, Herrera was asked whether this wasn't necessarily the case at United.
He replied: 'I was happy at that incredible club. I am very grateful to the supporters.
'Frankly, I was immensely happy in Manchester, but at the club, there were times when I felt that football was not considered the most important thing.'
When asked whether money was the top priority, Herrera said: 'That does not come out of my mouth.
'I don't know, but football was not the most important thing in Manchester. I do not want to compare, all I know is that here, I feel like I'm breathing football on all sides. And I like it.'
His comments could be interpreted as a swipe at United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and their relentless pursuit of commercial gain at the expense of winning
