Well no matter what we do we are destined for 4th, but the arsenal syndrome ain't all that bad after last seasons debacle
actually after that video above, we should just screw with newcastle and get them relegated (because you know they aren't beating west ham)

I am with you on this Spens. I hope we do Brucey a favor. let's get Newcastle relegated. . Their fans will only be satisfied if Mike Ashley get them a Pep, Fergie or a Mourinho type of manager. Fat chance!

Looks like 4th is our finishing position, would like to see some young players get a chance. Lets play Wilson, Januzaj, Pereira, McNair etc

Fat chance! well he is a shite arrogant owner also. lets face it we would absolutely despise him as our owner. he basically hordes all their profits and reinvests very little. though the players are worse to be honest

Dont like this lineup. Its fair to say LVG hasnt given opportunity to young players, He only used young players when he was forced to use because non-availability of senior players. This game was a great chance to use some of the youngsters but he didnt use it. We are finishing 4th for sure, I dont know whats the point in playing a strong lineup unless you are aiming for 7-0

He started Wilson up front vs Liverpool when Falcao was on the bench. That shows faith. This season was too important to risk throwing too many young players at the side all the time.
I'm a bit disappointed Wilson doesn't start today but Pereira is away with the Brazil U20's, other than those 2 I wouldn't have started any other kids anyway.

What about Januzaj and McNair? Today we have nothing to play for, why not try these guys?

Disappointing but not unsurprising. You could look at it from his point of view where every game starts at 3pm today so he feels he has a responsibility to field the strongest side possible, as he sees it, in fairness to other teams. Seems like something he would be very keen on, particularly in his first season in England.

Get the lead and throw them on then, hence avoiding any Bruce favours and I don't believe that LVG would have any sentiments towards Bruce anyway cos he's a natural winner

I suppose Januzaj could have had a start today as well. I think it's unfair to say he doesn't want to give the kids a chance though. His track record shows he is very keen on blooding the youngsters, I'm sure they'll all get more game time next season.
