Yeah I don't get that. When you consider tonight is pretty much an audition for all the big clubs in the world including the one he's playing against, he's hardly performed like a player you'd want to splash £70million on.
Obviously not judging his worth on 1 game, I'd still take him in an instant but yeah he's not been great tonight.

Madrid just weren't clinical enough. Indeed. But I think their biggest problem is that they're unbalanced. They have to many star players, and too few who're ready to do the dirty work in the shadow. They lack battlers imo. They don't have a Vidal or a Marchisio ready to die for the team. Adding Pogba this summer would only increase that issue. |

I agree with a midfield of Kroos, James and Isco is unbalanced but against the majority of teams they'd probably beat them with that trio. With the way they do transfer business though, team of superstars are they going to change, think Pogba is terms of his arrogance and flamboyance they are made for each other.
I don't know but they won CL last year having not won for it donkeys years and the league? Then sell arguably one of their best players in Di Maria and Alonso also. Then expect Ancelotti to do it all again, surely you should build on that team rather than breaking it up. Last year they were top class.
Ancelotti to get the boot this year, that's just Madrid..
