I don't particularly, I find it sad the predicament they're in, and there's nothing fickle about Geordie fans, they're diehard - they'll still fill that stadium no matter what league they're in provided they're not out-priced.

7 straight losses and it looks like going to be 8. Last win against Villa on 28th Feb. They are not safe yet, they could end up at 16th place after this weekend with just 1 point above Leicester.

Say the same about any whingeing set of fans, including our fanbase at times. Pardew's a smarmy cunt and had built up a reasonable amount of antagonism and animosity with the fans, a lot of that was down to his situation though. But you can reasonably expect to replace one manager with someone equal to, or better, instead. You don't expect the first face the owner finds from the backroom staff to be given the job for the remainder of the season on a whim. "Here ya go, mate, crack on, good luck." :lol:

He's not a world class manager but a solid one throughout his career. .. and look what he has done for Palace. bottom 3 when he took over and now they are comfortably at mid table. |

Congratulations Chelsea on their Premier League triumph. Not what we would have wanted to see, but their title win is undoubtedly deserved.
