Interesting if true.
I haven't watched him much since his injury, but before that I checked on Dortmund regularly and he is simply a player of different class.
If he has recovered from his injury, he is a massive signing, that's for sure:
- he can partner Herrera with Carrick/Blind behind them
- he can partner Fellaini with Carrick/Blind behind them
- he can cover for Carrick and Blind and shield the defence (a role he occupied for Germany a couple of years ago if I am not mistaken, and where he did brilliantly)

If he can get back to what he was a few years ago then he'll be a great signing, still it would be a bit of a risk but if he's the man Louis wants then so be it.

To be fair Dave, I remember a reliable English journo by the name of Mark Ogden saying we didn't have interest in Herrera after Cardenas Cope and Cardenas See reported he was close to being signed. It is a surprise to them I think like with the Rojo and Herrera.
Like most of you i feel if he is signed and fit and on form, there aren't many in in the world let alone the PL who are better than him, hope VG can bring the old Ilkay back.

yeah, but they would have to say something if it were true. And he's played 27 times for them this season, seems a little convenient. They're all going with this story now tho, it's got legs. I guess it's a good sign he's played so many games I would have thought.
