Today is a good day.... I put a comment on facebook saying if we'd have found this sort of form a little sooner we'd have been serious title challengers and Chelsea would have been getting worried....My Uncle who is your average, bitter Liverpool fan (and also one of the most stubborn and difficult people to win an argument with) responds by saying, "Well you didn't find form sooner, so you're not title challengers"... I respond with "What was that? You're almost that far away I can't hear what you're saying."...to which he responds "Lol".
Now considering I've been known to have footballing arguments/banter with this uncle lasting about 20 comments each. Him pretty much admitting defeat so early is almost as sweet as today's victory.......almost.
Time for another cider.

First 15-20 minutes they got me thinking I must admit, like, not this shit again. We were sloppy at the back and for a moment it looked like we're due to another clusterfeck of a game. Thank God we picked up our shit together very soon after that opening and took them to the cleaners shortly afterwards.
The only negative to say like that, although not that much of a biggie was Wayne, all the others were fine until the last 10 or so mins when Carrick went out. Hope everything is good 'n' well with him, very important cog in the machine, irreplaceable for now IMO.

I was hugely impressed with the way we stepped up our game. I feared the worst with that start, we were shocking for 20 minutes, all over the place. But after those 20 minutes we were the better side by an absolute mile, we outplayed them plain and simple. Every aspect of our game was better than theirs: speed of passing, movement, beautiful triangles, aggression, composure on the ball, pressing, energy and we became much more solid defensively. To think this side is going to be improved on in the summer with new signings.
I said the victories over Liverpool and Spurs were impressive and a sign of how much we're improving. But to beat the champions like that, making them look so inferior was on another level.

I actually forget every time they're the current champions. Liverpool's slip up was stuck in the brain but not them lot winning the damn thing.

What has impressed me against Spurs, Pool and even City today is how casual the victory almost looked. I am not saying those were easy games, but we have made those teams look ordinary. Our moves are so well coordinated, it almost looks simple: we're not relying on individual brilliance, it's very much a perfectly organised team effort that is taking us there, and that's what I appreciate.
I had always thought LVG would take us to another level, but I didn't expect it so soon. With a few clever signings this summer, Manchester United will go back where they belong.

Was lucky enough to be at Old Trafford for that awesome performance today ..... yes dodgy start but oh how they took it on the chin and fought back Feel we got a pride back today and yes Manchester is RED Young MotM , Fellaini got stuck in as well with some key defending from Valencia as City pushed for a second in the first half Also thought Rooney had a quiet game and hope Carrick has nothing serious Bring on Chelsea we're on a roll

You reckon I'm a di Maria's fanboy and prefer a certain player over a great performance and a team win?
