Dunno really, sounds like desperation to me. If they buy enough attackers they're hoping one of them will stick. All of them are unproven at the highest level.

Firmino obviously has some ability and I would have had him here but I don't necessarily want him here (emphasis on want), the other 2 are non entities. The sort of signings I'd be expecting from the likes of Southampton. Not a side intent on getting back into the top 4.

Goodish players at the moment is better than no players. we haven't signed a player since Depay and that was announced a while ago.

150-200 mill warchest and we've done fuck all with it. nevermind the league, we'll miss out on CL places next season if we don't buy more players

I know we'd have liked to do it early on but its difficult to bring in the calibre of players we will be after, money will be spent that's for sure.
