Now that's a smart bit of business by Spurs. I've always liked Son.

Spurs with some good business there, Son is a really good player, easily the best in asia right now
at the price he is a bit of a steal also

With add ons ... it became 22mil. He's good but nowhere near the price spurs had paid for him. He would have cost lesser if smaller clubs would have gone for him. Spurs are in desperate mode at the moment. They are in need of a striker. We could have offered them chica for 20 mil and they would have taken that as well.

if they wanted chicha they would have already bid
he scored 11 goals in the bundesliga, that isn't all that bad at all for a winger
i mean firmino went for more and i see Son as the better player

De Bruyne due for a medical soon. £54mil is fucking ludicrous money. We paid £5mil more than that for a proven top level performer who had just been an important part of a Champions League winning team in Di Maria. I know he didn't have the best of times here but still there was more reasoning to that sort of fee.
Absolute nonsensical fee and is the reason so many people I speak to are getting fed up with football.

They don't even fucking need him. They're going to deploy him out on the right when for me he's best played centrally. He doesn't have the pace, strength or work rate to be a success out wide, at least not a £54million success.

Sheffield Wednesday have had a 10 million pound bid rejected from Fulham for Ross McCormick
that is wrong on all levels
is McCormick worth that sort of money, really, is he scoring 30 in the championship or something, when the hell did Sheffield Wednesday get that sort of money anyway

Problem City have now is that Pellegrini will be "forced" to play KDB because of his price tag and all the fuss that has been made. 2 problems there: - how do you tell someone like Navas that he is dropped despite having been part of that team which hasn't conceded yet and outplayed everyone so far? - KDB is a player I rate highly, although I expect him to struggle at first in this league, but he is too similar to Silva in the role he can occupy best. - Navas's pace might be missed in City's current set up, as KDB doesn't have his acceleration.
That's very much disrupting a well-found balance for the sake of it. KDB will give them depth, but I doubt his integration into the side will happen "smoothly", or without causing some issues. But who knows? Perhaps he is juts going to make them even stronger?
