I mean actual quality that either has potential and/or can start for us or at least play a decent role that someone at the club can't do already for next season (also this is under the presumtion all of these guys listed don't get resigned, which inevitably 75% will anyway)
Here's what i got
Sami Khedira
Fabian Schar
Evgen Konoplyanka (Andre Ayew)
Danny Ings
Dani Alves (Jon Flanagan)
Sammy Ameobi
Sami Khedira - should be obvious, we all know he is world class defensive mid who would take our Central midfield up another notch
Fabian Schar - He is a CB who currently stars for Basel who could very well compete for a starting place with united (or at least give guys like Smalling and Evans a real wake up call) he's also 23 which makes him quiet young
Evgan Konoplyanka - He is a 25 year old ukrainian international that plays predominantly on the wing (can play both wings) though he can play as a second striker if needed. Tottenham also want him so this could become quiet the war for him, but ultimately he could answer some of our problems in terms of an out and out attacking winger. Has a decent build and is quick so adjusting to the premier league isn't going to be an issue for him one would think
Alternative: Andre Ayew - Also 25, same height, but he is insanely fast, good on the ball also, one of Marseille's best players for a while. Does he offer more then Konoplyanka or what Young offers now, maybe not, but if we were unable to get Konoplyanka, he is hardly a bad consolation prize
Danny Ings - Who doesn't want him (i mean even Moyesy wants him now) Half the good premier league clubs want his signature, with the current situation with Falcao and Chicharito may not want to come back (i really want him back, i think him and Rooney would link up well under LVG's system, especially given Chicharito's quality as a striker), if we lose either one. we may need another striker (though Wilson is quality, 3 strikers is a bit thin) In comes Danny Ings, he has been Burnley's only positive to be blunt, at 22 years old he would be a guy who can come off the bench and score goals. Not a bad option to have off your bench in the premier league
Dani Alves - i don't think we would be the most lucrative offer (i can more or less list the clubs and leagues after him this summer: PSG, China, Qatar, UAE, MLS) but he would be at least adequate cover to Rafael, and they're both on good terms i think. It is an issue that does need to be resolved
Alternative: Jon Flanagan - I would love to do that to the scousers, make them pay for their own stupidity for not signing their RB of the future up and potentially be stuck with Glen Johnson (though he may be off to Roma, mercifully for them)
Sammy Ameobi - He is no Shola, He is a really good young player for them, has been all season. poaching him and bringing him to united would give us a nice young option who can play on the left or as a second striker, this is more a depth signing but the wenger in me would be compelled to sign him, young and on the cheap with skills = good signing
