you just hope the prospect of facing all the top teams in the next few weeks gets them going enough to start performing, 'cause if they do what they did tonight they'll get stuffed against 'Pool and Arsenal in particular, doubt they'd do Spurs either That's certainly a valid view of looking at it. But we have put in some solid performances against the bigger clubs this season. I am not saying we will win or even perform well against them, but LVG's has shown that he can set us up smartly for those games. We won 3-0 against Pool, some say we were lucky, but it's very much debatable. We alsmot won 3-0 away at the emirates if it wasn't for Di Maria's miss, we outplayed Spurs away and could easily have won if RVP and Falcao had had a scoring touch. Even City didn't beat us comfortably at all. (didn't watch the Chelsea game so can't comment on that one). No one can predict how those games will turn out of course, but I feel more comfortable going into big games than I did under SAF's late years (not even speaking about Moyes here lol). Anyway it's going be a very exciting end to the season.

Good point about being allowed the possession in the first place -> good, might work in our favour. That's what I'm hoping for. Concentration, quick thinking and our wide play will be crucial. It may sound strange, but Mata is one of the guys I'd start in this match. As much as slow, he has the best eye for a pass in the counter and thinks quickly. Remember that 3rd goal vs Liverpool?

Yeah we won't dominate possession in the same way against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal as they themselves will be hoping to do the same. There will be more gaps in their defenses as well which may make it easier for us to create. It's no great surprise that most of our better performances this season have come against top opposition.

Giggs summed my mood up when he didn't celebrate with LvG for Young's winner: https://vine.co/v/O0FupLgbZ22That's the look of an unhappy and worried man.

Smalling i swear.....
also di maria was just shite. i really don't know, after so much promise at the start of the season. oh well a win is a win i guess. we remain 2pts ahead of southampton in 4th and a point behind arsenal
though we got tottenham at home next, that is not going to be a fun fixture for us, thankfully southampton are going to the bridge so we should stay 2pts ahead one would think (even if we lose, i think we should be coming out with at least a draw though at home)
