Rodgers saying the two bids that have been officially put forward (One us, presume the other City) are nowhere near Leicester's valuation - and United put a 70m bid in. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49012117

I was joking about that Dalot to Right wing.......
Real Madrid apparently are wanting to unload Asensio and Isco to fund a Pogba deal. Honestly, they could just put both of them in the deal and put some cash on top and call it a day. Isco would be a solid replacement in the system and Asensio on the wing would be probably our best winger.
Also, we're being linked to Matuidi (a few years to late to be honest, should have gotten him the last two times he moved, just that Jose was so stubborn he had to have his old players).

Wouldn't want either Asensio or Isco. I rate Isco highly but there must be a reason why no Madrid manager in the last 4 years has him as a sure starter. Asensio started well 3 or 4 years ago but hasn't kicked on. 1 goal last season as a forward says it all and he's never a winger. With Pogba cash deal only. £150M would buy us Maquire and Bruno. We'd still be light on the right but with these 2 plus AWB, the youngsters coming through and maybe James I think it would be more than enough to enter the top 4. If we had a more prolific goal scorer then the top 2 wouldn't be out of the question. Next season go for Sancho and a quality goal scorer and we'll be right back on track.

Not entirely impressed with Maguire as a signing as it seems a bit of a sub par CB signing but at least its a signing and its in an area we desperately need help.

Maguire is solid as fuck, not a baller like Rio, he's an upmarket Steve Bruce. He'll be excellent for us, particularly his aerial attributes but he can also bring the ball out nicely too.
There are names ahead of him (Koulibaly) but beggars cant be choosers. I think he'll be great with Vic and Axel.

Definitely the best we could wish for. Who cares if he costs 80m? Not my money  I think looking at AWB we can all agree it was money well spent. Probably at the time it seemed like too much for someone who's only had a season in the game but he looks to me like our RB position is sorted for the next 10 years. Money we'll spent. Same with Maquire. 6 or 7 years of good service from him and his fee won't seem overly expensive. What more could we want from a defender? Leads the line, knows how to bring the ball out from the back, premiership proven, very dangerous at set plays, can play long balls, beast in the air, doesn't go to ground. When Pogba actually fucks off and Young sitting on the bench for me Maquire will be an obvious candidate for captain.

We're just not in that position any more, that's been very successfully squandered by parasite inc, it now looks like we won't even get Maguire over the line unless maguire makes an intervention (which he should if he wants the move) and they also have less than 48 hours to get Toby A for his release clause value before Levy puts it up.

80m is the new 50m. Get rid of Jones 25m, Bailly 25m and Rojo 20m then Maquire wouldn't cost the club a lot of money.

I'd keep Bailly to be honest, he's one of our few decent CB's. Jones and Rojo though can both go (Jones sadly because of health, Rojo cause he's shite).
Also if La Republica is to be believed, we have a deal for Milinkovic-Savic worth 67 mill in place if we do sell Pogba. I'd rather we do a deal with Juve since they'd probably give us Dybala (bad season last year aside) and cash to get Savic.
