Definitely a clean sheet waiting for someone in this game Rinse repeat of Burnley and Palace again. OT ripe at the moment for those kind of games plans. Just a case of the playschool lesson between teacher and pupil in that we try the expansive stuff we get the Galatasaray outcome, or try the boring bit and hope for a bit of magic like the Burnley game
(Side note Hoijland looks bright and we don't have the out and out threat of Ivan Toni to deal with so that alone from the last time we played these can only be a bonus)

If it was not for McT pulling an Ole we would have had another loss and Red Faces all round.
Antony being available again will let Bruno resume a more central position where he belongs. Jonny Evans looked the real deal.
Still lots of holes to be fixed and quickly. Why is it that when the commentator mentions Onana my mind instantly replies BANANA.

We need a big bag of confidence, and we needed some LUCK, which we finally got. We need players back in their right positions to get some much needed rhythm going and hopefully that confidence comes.

You need the old defence back, bar DDG. You need fully fit and active; Varane, Martinez, Shaw (you should have a worldy RB in already but we haven't) You need Fully fit and motivated Amrabat, Casemiro to either cover for each other or play as 4 and 6 with Bruno where he belongs and Hoylund up top. It should have been AND Kane AND Kin Minh Ja for Varane - but we haven't got a pot to to piss in and we are where we are because of it.
In other words it's always been spine and always will be. Take chunks out of that and your solidity goes
