definitely Dave, can't bear to see fletcher in midfield again slowing everything down. I would only swap mata for di maria and put Rooney behind rvp and Falcao. Di maria can play deeper centrally as he did at Burnley and it would help having someone running with the ball from deep.

Sounds like Rooney will be staying in midfield..

Falcao off the mark I expect the flood gates to open up. The day off over Christmas could be a double-edged sword.

I never wanted Manchester United to be second to anybody. Only the best would be good enough

Seems like he got injured during training. What the heck are we doing in training? Most of our injuries come from the training ground.

Good performance for 70mins then we slowed the tempo and took our eye off the game a little, better showing though than the Villa game, some very good moments of football. Mata and Rooney were much better today, looking forward and being more direct it's a toss up between them two for MOTM for me, Carrick was very good again cleaning up when needs be. Falcao is getting sharper, three well worked goals just a shame we conceded otherwise it would have been the perfect performance. 3 points, can't complain

good win, good goals and very sloppy after Carrick went off. only thing I can say is fletcher isn't good enough for united anymore, he concedes the ball very easily and is bullied off the ball easily and I am disappointed he didn't give Pereira a debut it was perfectly set up for a debut for him. oh well 3 points we move on to spurs

Yeah the last 20/25 minutes were frustrating as I think we could have put 5/6 past them if we kept attacking and ripping them open at will. Some of the movement and just general play between Rooney, Mata, Falcao and RVP was fantastic, going forward we looked very good. On our day we could take apart any side there is.
Rooney was the best player on the pitch, 2 goals and a lovely ball for Robin's goal.

Fletcher has barely played since August, I wouldn't be so quick to write him off, but yes - we looked much better with Carrick there. Falcao looked much better today too, just goes on to show you how important is for players to get more game time. In that line of thoughts glad to see Rafael back, we're getting closer and closer to the optimal team and who knows what we'll be able to do then... On to Tottenham now

Got to say i was happy with the performance today. We're still shakey in defence but that's nothing new. A dominant signing is still very much needed there. Mata showing what he can do playing behind the strikers. Should of conceded a penalty but luck is definitely with us this season. Attack wise I thought we were great with players wanting the ball and a lot of movement. Young another good game and now that Rafa's back we should be more of a threat down the right because Valencia doesn't bring much in that position. We won't be catching the first 2 but for the first time I feel we'll finish third with a lot to spare.
