I'm sure it is about the glory with Ronaldo. What odds is a few quid going to make to him at his stage of his footballing life

No, Im on about him accepting lesser terms from someone like Bayern, who would snap him up and deliver him a CL run (at least) but he won't take less than what he's on - yes, we over pay

I always considered Ronaldo an icon. Now I am disgusted with him. All the talk of how much he loves Manchester United has now gone down the drain. He is after personal glory only, that's why he wants to join a Champions league club. He is worried that Messi may break his PERSONAL records. He doesn't give a shit about the club, only about his legacy. What a pity!

My view on this is that Ronny believed MUFC would provide him with the vehicle to his aspirations and dreams. Alas that was not to be.
Time is not on his side, to wait 3 years for MUFC to maybe evolve into a team capable of challenging for Champions league glory is not an option.
So quite rightly he is looking for the best alternative. He has worked so hard to build his reputation so I for one wish him all the very best.
