Jose Mourinho warns misfiring Manchester United stars: Make my 24 or you'll be out with the kids
I have 26 on my list
David De Gea Sergio Romero
Chris Smalling Daley Blind Phil Jones Timothy Fosu-Mensah Eric Bailly Luke Shaw Cameron Borthwick-Jackson Matteo Darmian Antonio Valencia
Morgan Schneiderlin Michael Carrick Bastian Schweinsteiger Paul Pogba (or other CM signing) Juan Mata Ander Herrera Memphis Depay Ashley Young Adnan Januzaj Jesse Lingard Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Wayne Rooney Anthony Martial Marcus Rashford Zlatan Ibrahimovic
could omit Young to make it 25. Maybe another loan for Januzaj but I'd rather see him given a chance under Mou.
means no Fellaini, Rojo, Johnstone, Varela, Keane and out on loan Pereira and Wilson.

Telegraph found 7 reasons not to sign Pogba!
£100m should get you more than Pogba gives - yes, but we need quality over quantity.
Where is he going to fit in? - that's a reason not to sign him? Come on, what are they smoking at the telegraph. He fits both 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3
There is value out there - yeah, right with a good scouting and in the long-term I agree, United should be signing talent rather than the top stars for big money. This is a one time chance and we need to add instant quality after the recent seasons and he is still very young. So he combines both, good age and instant quality. In general when United comes knocking the price goes up, see Martial. But it is true we should have signed Renato Sanches for 35-40m
The transfer would draw unnecessary attention - as if United ever had less attention than any other club, or if Pogba weren't the character to handle it...
This is Mourinho's chance to promote youth...finally - might be right, here especially re Fosu-Mensah if he ends up in midfield rather than CB (Which I hope because Tuanzebe and Williams are coming up at CB). I can easily seeing TFM & Pogba playing together in the future. Carrick and Schweini won't stand in their way for too long and if Schneiderlin doesn't improve he will be gone soon too.
He didn't have a great Euros - compared to hype around him and the fee yes, he didn't live up to that. Still he wasn't poor and he has schown his talent occasionally. A bad euros doesn't overschadow 4 brilliant years at Juve. PL is a step up from Serie A but he has massive stats so can't see why he couldn't do it here on a top level.
Zlatan is a big enough character - Zlatan is a bonus, he is here only a year or two. Pogba could be a central figure for years to come.
I think overall they are just ignoring there is no better player in his position right know, tell me one?!

There is no better option for us there so get him and pay what is needed. We have the money and better pay it for a top player than mediocre squad players. With the new tv deal all fees go up. 100m now means 70-80 compared to last year and that is exactly what you for the best.
We will have lots of money again next season. No reason to keep it in the bank and pay taxes.
Pogba can either be here for a long time or will have resell value in case he moves to real later.

yes, I am as well fully backing the decision re them two. Both have no future at the club no matter who's the manager.
It would be sad if it hits Mata but I will accept if that means Pogba joins. Also sad would be seeing januzaj leave, think he hasn't yet fulfilled his potential.
Blind is the one that would make me angry because that would be straight against the United way. Had a good season and deserves to be given a chance. You can count on him, someone who really wants to play for us. Schneiderlin the same, had his ups and downs but any player, even memphis, deserves to be given 2nd season to prove himself. Hope we are not turning into a club like madrid who gets rid of players after one season, not the way I want our club to act.

Jose Mourinho will axe 8 players as he tries to land Juventus’ Paul Pogba and he wants to work with 22 core men.
The squad will also be trimmed with loans and sales.
A United source said: “Jose has made it clear he wants to work with 22 key players. It means up to eight players heading out.”
[Source: The Sun, Mirror]
out: Varela, NcNair, Blackett, Johnstone, Fellaini [or Mata :-( ]
loan: Pereira, Wilson, Keane

Why couldn't he play like that for us? Good first half against France.
Anyway, will get injured in preseason...

yeah, bad business indeed but the 100m the Glazers take out of United every year are worse business.
We all know letting him go was a mistake but we won't make good on that by making another mistake and not signing him back if he was ready to come.

yes, Raiola may have agreed terms for Pogba but that says nothing. Only that United is willing to pay the wages Raiola is demanding for his player but by no means this is a sign he wants to come for me.
Some say the rumoured interest from Real was driven by Raiola to up Uniteds offer. But why isn't the real rumour going away when personal terms are agreed.
Twitter is, despite all the nonsense written there, a good indicator whats happening. All indications at this point are pointing towards Real imo and us going for a plan B ((maybe Matuidi) instead.
