I think Shaw needs competition more than a replacementRicardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg is exactly the guy we need to give him just that godly rotation That's what I had in mind too. It simply is not healthy for him nor for us to have just one option there. It's also not good enough for Manchester United Football Club to have just " a players who can fill in and do the job" when Shaw isn't playing, for this and that reason. Regardless of the name, I just wanted to know would people like another great left back in the team and how much is it necessary for us to be a top there?

How many people on here thinks that we'll go for another left back in the summer?
This question in my head is triggered by his constant injuries, struggles to adapt in the way we're playing and very average performances, especially in defense > being caught out high up the pitch very often when played. I know he's just arrived and is just 19 years old but still. Basically, do people think he should get some competition for that spot, assuming you disagree with Blind being played there and Rojo as a main LCB without shifting him on two positions and thus not allowing him to settle properly into one and learn?

This midfield trio, can it ever work, regardless of a role Fellaini gets?
If it can, when and where and what's needed for it to work? Against what type of midfields, domestically and internationally?
Personally, I don't get it.

they shouldn't have issues with depth, they have the deepest squad in the world honestly real madrid sacking ancelotti seems pretty short sighted. the man is a top 3 manager in the world. not like Mou is going to go back there. Simeone ain't going either since it will be like a cardinal sin to go from atleti to real who are you left with, Poach Guardiola from Madrid (will he want to go back to la liga, or does he want other challenges), LVG, Benitez, Klopp I imagine Tony Pulis, he likes physics and pace too and could introduce a hoofball as a bit of fresh breath...

Was annoyed and pissed with the way we sent those gifts their way. At their first goal we were all over the place, Valencia, Smalling and di Maria the main culprits, the second one was just typical us (recall Evans' and Jones' back passes).
We're still just too slow in transition from the back and there are still too much space between players. Long way to go until we look as a team.

The only thing missing there was a swimming pool. Oddly enough, Young has left his fins at home, but di Maria, Januzaj and Welbeck have made my day complete. Throw the half time subs and Monty bloody Python Oliver in the mix too, the Holy FA Grail is out of reach once again.
I bet I'll have a nightmares with Fellaini kicking me every two seconds and shouting Bart Simpson's "I didn't do it" with that gobbler eyes staring in my poor distressed soul!

I've actually got pre match jitters and I only get them on the big occasions, and it's only just turned 3pm. Yeah, same here. Came back from work and it started. People are saying "it's only Arsenal the old customer" but something of an old rivalry is still present inside me/us. It faded away a bit in recent years but those matches from a past couple of seasons were really a holiday all round, in every way. I miss that same feeling. I only can imagine how it was on the stands when in the living room the blood boiled unstoppably.

While I'm at Veron here, it's really amazing that he turns "only" 40 today. It looks like ages ago since he left. Maybe, if he had a bigger impact in his time at United, that time would look much shorter.

How does it make you feel to hear United fans shouting 'Argentina! Argentina!'?Very happy. Every time fans shout 'Argentina!' during games, it’s incredible. Whether they do it for Angel [Di Maria] or for me, it’s an immense support because it makes us want to give even more for the team, knowing supporters recognise us in this way. Maybe some more of this and Angel starts flying again? Great lad Rojo, really like him.

Really, what's the issue? I heard Falcao had done a large curling turd on herrera's boot and he was last to notice - if that fills in the missing blank for ya, RoD. That's a goodie! They're obviously laughing at something, it's our guess work to figure it out at what while the imagination works. Maybe Falcao's tracksuit has split in the middle while giving his best to make a run. Maybe even panties are gone (if he wears one). Edit: Hence the turd.

Most certainly we'll buy one, it would be ridiculous not to. As for two, I'd like it too, a deep lying playmaker would be my pick, maybe Modrić or Gündogan from my list, others are not best suited for that role. Central midfield containing Nainggolan/Schneiderlin - Modrić/Gündogan - di Maria/Herrera would be really something!
