As good a display I've seen from us this season, that's exactly what we should be doing against sides like this at Old Trafford, dominant from start to finish. More of the same on Tuesday night please guys.
Van Persie put himself about a bit more and finished off his chance superbly, would still prefer him to start on the bench on Tuesday, Rooney played well and again a nice finish for his goal, also thought Mata had a big influence on the game... was here there and everywhere. Not a bad performance out there for me although it is too hard to judge the individual displays as Hull really offered very little.

Finally something you can call a comfortable win. I was expecting more from Hull to be honest but even so, we dominated the game, great possession that actually led to something, bonus great build-up for almost every attack. Carrick really impressed me, but I can't single out anyone that did better or worse than the others.

Would like to have my say but I spent the 90 minutes chasing links to the game because they all kept crashing so VGs safe at least until Tuesday  3-0, Herrera gets a game even if it was to replace Di Maria, RVP scores, De Gea clean sheet and Smalling having another good game. Can't ask for more than that

It was a good performance from us but since we scored the 1st Hull just let us play, we zipped the ball around with confidence and seemed to be enjoying ourselves so can't complain. RVP was better today, Herrera finally got some action, alright he does give the ball away a few times but we play better football with him in the team. Same again on Tuesday.

good all round performance from everyone
especially considering we where missing key players also i am very impressed. still must be said, as bad as i now feel for fellaini due to his good form. Herrera must start, he's too good. that Herrera-Blind combination is deadly for us and messing with that ain't fair. however the depth fellaini and carrick form i am now convinced is good enough since LVG has them playing them up to potential (well at least fellaini's potential, carrick can be better somewhat) how did smalling play that well i am not sure, maybe he got a wake up call after the stupid red
its great that we are only 2 points behind city now and they play southampton who are a further 2 points ahead.

Carrick was great today, I'm not always his biggest fan for his defensive work, but with Fellaini throwing himself about, Carrick shone, his vision going forward is exellent. Rooney was great again and RVP is acknowledging the fact that Falcao is fit to play (and James Wilson is knocking on the door) and that his place is at risk and he responded well with movement and a class goal. Herrera is a starter, but who do you leave out, Fellaini? Mata's movement also impressed, he was a constant threat. What a headache LVG has ahead of him when all the players are fit and able....thankfully, our strength in depth is beginning to show.
