just good business from BVB... (for once) now they removed the absurd buyout clause and can demand top dollar when he decides to leave. good to see they've finally come to their senses (only took gotze and lewandowski to learn how to do transfer business properly) |

To me that wasn't nearly as big of a deal on the surface because he wasn't an established player. Pogba left because he wanted his time to be right then while SAF obviously had other ideas as far as his development and playing time. If you look at what he's gone on to do then sure, but at the time he was far from being Lewandowski.

I think you'll find on football manager 2010 swap deals were all the rage.

even in italy they're being a lot more strict with the deals now.
i would take koke at united. though that would probably mean carrick would be permanently on the bench or gone, with fellaini/herrera's future in doubt (i would rather keep herrera despite fellaini's absolutely phenomenal form)
