Wasn't put under too much pressure but was tidier on the ball than usual and dealt with pretty much everything down his side. I expect him to play on Saturday and probably on the left as well if it's with McNair.
Shaw was brilliant again as well, hope his knock wasn't too bad.

Been away for a few days so I'm not up to date on the injury front. I see De Gea has a slight problem and that Blind could be out for a while. Anyone else suffered problems?

Shaw got kicked to death, thankfully Woy whipped him off before any real damage was done. The media/people were starting to write him off but he just needed the games, improving all the time.

If De Gea needs to be 100% to play then he won't... but if we tape that finger up and tell him to go do his job, then we'll be fine.

Lindegaard or De Gea - I'm not that worried.

Dave and Di Maria are fit, but Blind is fucked.
Shaw's a doubt but Carrick should be fit. Not said anything specific about anyone else - they'll assess how they are in training tomorrow.
Van Gaal says he likes them to be in training for at least a week before selecting them, preferably two.

Great news about De Gea and Di Maria. Still wondering why he didn't give any update on other players - it would have made my life so much easier. I'm thinking Rafael should be fit, then McNair partnering with Smalling, Shaw if he's fit; Carrick, Herrera, Di Maria and Mata, Rooney and van Persie up top

once ADM is back, we have a great chance to counteract Sanchez, even with our weakened side through injuries we are on par with Arsenal with ADM in the side. Should be a good game, certainly not a 1-0 anyway I think

Rafael and Jones now confirmed as out. De Gea Valencia -- McNair -- Smalling - Shaw/Blackett Carrick Herrera --- Di Maria Mata Rooney -- van Persie Despite all the injuries, I still only make that 3 or 4 players away from full strength as a starting XI, the bench will look shite though.

Can't argue with that lineup due to the current injury situation. I'd be confident going into the game with that lineup as well, fancy us to get all 3 points but if I'm being truthful it's a fixture in which a draw wouldn't be the worst result in the world, be very disappointed to lose to them though.

Yup, after the last injury updates this looks like the line-up to go with Fellaini, Fletcher, Wilson and whoever else is fit on the bench. I'm thinking it will be a tight game and hopefully we can squeeze out 3 points but a draw would be more realistic...or I'm just being overly critical.

www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/nov/21/arsenal-manchester-united-defence-tacticsArsenal and Manchester United: who is more unstable at the back? Both sides are suffering from key absences and a lack of defensive organisation that is undermining their prospects of challenging for the title, and maybe even the top four • Daley Blind blow adds to Manchester United’s woes • Giroud gives Arsenal a boost with early return Ok Michael Cox ...... but we have DDG
