Always been surprised by the lack of investors in them to be honest. Seems the perfect club for some billionaire to invest in. Good fanbase, decent history and in a good footballing city (even if we don't want to admit it).

www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-3472523/England-s-big-five-clubs-Manchester-United-City-Chelsea-Arsenal-Liverpool-hold-secret-meeting-London-American-billionaire-European-Super-League.htmlPremier League's big five clubs hold meeting in London with American billionaire 'about European Super League' Manchester United, City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool met American billionaire Stephen Ross at the five-star Dorchester Hotel. Ed Woodward, the executive vice-chairman at Old Trafford, was among those seen smiling and shaking hands as he left. There was also Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck, Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis, City chief executive Ferran Soriano and Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre. Ross, an American real estate developer who owns the Miami Dolphins and has a net worth of more than £3billion, is reported to want the deal wrapped up as soon as possible. He also created the pre-season International Champions Cup in the United States, China and Australia. The move could spell the end for Champions League football, with The Sun claiming the five clubs held talks about a competition for Europe's elite clubs. Well this meeting wasn't so secret after all - I can't honestly believe that the Champions League would disappear tho I also thought this whole European Super league idea was more for other European countries to potentially earn more from TV rights because they can't compete with Premier League pay-outs the English clubs With clubs complaining about match schedules already - how much more can players legs be asked to produce ?

It will happen eventually, but still think it will take a fair bit of time

Should have a thread of it's own. Revolutionised and redefined the how the game was played.
