Rupert Murdoch may be a cunt but the way Sky do sports is far superior to anywhere else. Part of the reason I was glad they won the right to take The Open from the BBC. As for BT Sport, they're terrible in my opinion. Can't stand the commentary.

Yeah, for the most part and barring the odd woeful pundit or commentator, Sky's football coverage is first class. As it should be considering how much it costs.
The figures released yesterday are truly staggering - to add a little bit of context - United turnover £433.2m, if this deal had been in place United could have reduced every single standard matchday ticket to zero and the turnover would've been £441.6m. The increase from TV alone would more than replace 75,000 arses on seats for 28 home games.
Every Premier League club should be duty bound by this deal to reduce their ticket prices. The clubs no longer truly need us.
Most likely won't happen though.
Had the deal been in place last season - Stoke City would have turned over more than Atletico Madrid.

Yeah it's incredible and will almost surely rise even further in 3 years time. There was a line in the original article that Burnley are economically bigger than Ajax, just add more to your Stoke/Atletico comparison. Undoubtedly the biggest league in the world.
You would like to think that ticket prices will come down but I find it unlikely, if anything they're more likely to fabricate some reason to increase them further.

Yeah, I remember having a similar rant 3 years ago when the last deal was announced about ticket prices. It was unlikely then and it's unlikely now but this increase is a bit unprecedented when you look how much it is jumping. To be fair, United's tickets have stayed the same for the last 3 years but on the whole the Premier League just keeps going up. I guess we'll see what happens, I won't be holding my breath though.

should be wary, this could go very well or very badly (see inter milan and cardiff city) hopefully he goes out and actually has some passion for football and makes them sustainable enough where they can compete in the transfer market again, serie a is in a dire place and needs one, if not both the milan giants to rise up again and compete with juve and roma.

Sensible decision for all, now they just have to get rid of the shit stain of a manager.

Yeah, they extended the case against Malky because of new information or something like that didn't they?

But he's bringing the bird back, surely that's gotta please their fans. And as the saying goes "whoever pays the fiddler, orders the music."
