Great first half, struggled to sustain our attacks in the second but we were three to the good and managed the game well enough.
Pickford a very lucky boy on more than a few occasions.
Great match. Just a shame we didn’t get to see Maddison over the two games.

Great first half from us, should have gone in at least one up then we got done from nothing in the second but never gave in and clawed it back. Match and performance pretty much had everything and a fully deserved victory in the end  |

Portugal are the Nations League winners. Was a bit confusing at first but it’s been a success, the matches have been competitive and you can see what it’s meant to the players. Much better than random friendlies and I’ve enjoyed it. Shame we weren’t in the final, John fecking Stones  |
