Hacksaw Ridge - Loved it, brilliant and brutal film based on a true story of a war medic who refuses to carry a weapon. The films split into two parts really, the first showing his background and the reasons for his beliefs then the following half shows his determination to serve in the army and the war itself.
A must watch for me. 8/10

And since all the series are enjoy are going to hell, decided to watch a good movie.
Nocturnal animals with Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal. I have a whole new appreciation for Gyllenhaal in the past few years and this movie is no exception - gripping and intense from beginning to the end.

Just watched Arrival and it's a belter, if you liked the Jodie Foster movie, Contact, you'll love this. Very pleasantly surprised.
Also, The Great Wall, if you like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon type stuff this is worth a squirt. Switch brain off and enjoy - ancient China, the great wall plus monsters, what's not to like!
