I'll do the honors then... Can't even begin to tell how excited I am for this one - have been dreaming about watching this one since I started supporting United and I finally get to do it. And at the perfect time too - both teams look very strong, both playing beautiful attacking football and two great managers.
So, we got to put our strongest 11 out:
De Gea Valencia Jones Rojo(Smalling) Darmian Herrera Carrick Pogba Mkhitaryan Ibrahimovic Mata

Yeah that looks like a solid formation. We need to be at our best but given how we have been playing, i am cautiously optimistic about beating the scouse
3-2 win to us (i hope, they can attack well enough, they can't defend though).

Hope this fixture survives the weather Man Utd v Liverpool (16:00 GMT) Manchester United got a 0-0 draw at Anfield in October in a game that was basically a Jose Mourinho masterpiece. His gameplan was to restrict Liverpool to relatively few chances, and it worked. United will be far more ambitious in attack at Old Trafford, however, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has some big decisions to make over the fitness of some of his players. If Joel Matip is 75% fit I think Klopp will be tempted to play him, especially if Jordan Henderson is not quite ready. This is a massive game for both teams and I think it will end up with a point apiece. I think Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham would settle for that result too. Lawro's prediction: 1-1 ------------------------------- Playing last means the rest of the top six might have won so it’s a game neither side can afford to lose. I am going with Man Utd. I watched Liverpool in the EFL Cup and they were poor at the back, and if Zlatan Ibrahimovic is fit then I don’t see how they can cope with United. Defensively they were all over the place at Southampton and James Milner could have a long day against Marcus Rashford or Anthony Martial. United have won six on the spin in the league but they started this run sixth in the league and they are still sixth. I think they are big players if they win this match, but if they lose then you are looking at whether they will get in the top four. That’s how tight it is at the top at the moment. PAUL PREDICTS: 2-1

Weather should be fine, had the snow here but not too much. If we get some more then it will all be melted by the time we kick off anyway Looking forward to this one as always, Liverpool got bossed by Soton midweek but you know they'll turn up for this. Even if they do they are missing a few key players and are susceptible at the back especially with no Matip and with run we're on and the mood we'll be in I'm confident. Apart from the City match we've been very good against the better sides at OT and if we play like we did against Arsenal/Spurs on Sunday with intent from the off then we'll stand a good chance of collecting the three points. De Gea Valencia - Jones - Rojo - Blind Carrick Herrera - Pogba Micky - Ibra - Martial
If Rojo is still out then Smalling comes in but I'm not concerned about that. Let's twat these cunts

Excellent news for Rojo, I can't wait I think it will be great having Carrick's experience with the pace of Martial/Rashford. I am a bit worried with Micky as he has days when he's brilliant and some that he looks a bit off, but at the end of the day whatever team Mourinho picks is the best we've got . What are the news on Liverpool'a side? I read Coutinho was a doubt ...

De Gea Valencia Jones Rojo Blind Herrera Carrick Pogba Mkhitaryan Ibrahimovic Rashford Romero, Young, Smalling, Fellaini, Mata, Rooney, Martial Pereira, Darmian, Shaw, Fosu-Mensah, Schweinsteiger, Lingard and Memphis wrap up well Get an early goal and think it'll be relatively straight forward for us, fail too, well..... 2-0

What are the news on Liverpool'a side? I read Coutinho was a doubt ... Expect he'll play, Hendo and Matip are available as well but will he risk three rusty players.. probably. Mane is a big miss for them though.

This is a difficult one to read. How much will the home ground advantage " 12th Man " come into play ? On the balance of recent performances my gut feel is a draw. But as neither of the two managers really want to lose ground it will come down to who can motivate his team the most. So my heart says United to shave it by one goal.
Rashford over Martial is I think a must.

Sounds like a typical derby to me, cagey start and all hell breaks loose after first goal. Wouldn't like to call it at all. Although it would be a significant win for us if we win. We're in good shape though.

Need to attack from the first minute, Defense is where they are weaker.
