Europa up next... De Gea Darmian - Blind - Rojo - Shaw Carrick Herrera - Pogba Mata - Rooney - Martial
Not an easy place to go but win here and that puts us in a good position for the remaining matches.

United squad: De Gea, Romero, Johnstone; Blind, Jones, Darmian, Fosu-Mensah, Rojo, Shaw; Fellaini, Herrera, Mkhitaryan, Lingard, Mata, Pogba, Schneiderlin, Young; Ibrahimovic, Martial, Rashford, Rooney.
No Carrick and Jonesy back.

Confident about this one, we have the squad to secure a win.
I expect Jose to field a strong starting 11 and give key players a rest as and when he can. Start Rooney as he will be straining at the leash to impress.

Yeah, like the look of that Mprgan in with Herrera and Pogba. Like the bench, strong side really. Should have way too much for them

Nothing new to be fair that we can take from our performance tonight that we've not already seen at other points this season so far. Lets not get fooled (again) by either the scoreline or our late onslaught. Only genuinely troubled Fenerbahce once or twice while it was still a contest. They could have punished us on the counter further as we continued to push forward.
Think it's just guess work with us, with the talent, names and some hidden x factor or unknown that none of us have seen yet, we're just hoping that something sticks.
In the same week our cross town rivals take apart barca we're comfortably taken care of by fenerbahce. Where's it all going wrong

Mourinho; "we played like it was a friendly" "they played like it was a champions league final".
Damning indictment of his own team right there

This team looks like a joke. What an embarrassing performance.

Beat them 4-1 at home with ease and then what a let down tonight Still 3rd on 6 points not dead yet with 2 matches to go
Rooney scored a belter maybe the only positive point to take home tonight and it proves he can still pull one out of the bag.....which is more than Zlatan can right now ........Martial also looking more lively
Schneiderlin subbed off at HT poor sod took a yellow when Shaw was out played ..... will this lad ever get a break ? Had such high hopes for this player at Old Trafford but it's not looking anywhere close
I felt we missed Mata right from the outset ..... says something about the electricity on the pitch that he got shown yellow
More important to get heads straightened out to face Swansea away on Sunday ....... Thats the bottom line and 3 points there are hardly a foregone conclusion
We need a reaction and we need a win

Not playing well, injuries mounting up and facing an away trip to Swansea next. Great!!!!!! I dont actually know where our next win is coming from.
Futuristic and hopeful talk is one thing but there's been nothing of substance to back it up or to even give hope. It was all meant to be after the Chelsea defeat and the tone of the manager post match that day was pretty much in line with that. It's as if none of it matters

Worked hard with the ball (between the goals) but couldn't cut the mustard.
It's a tough place to go and we didn't make life easy conceding such an early goal, an excellent goal though it had to be said, it became doubly difficult when they scored the second again a piece of quality. They defended excellently throughout but we played straight into their hands, for which Mourinho has to take a look at himself.
Two strikers wide constantly drifting in to an already congested area, losing Pogba was a blow to our creativity and replacing him with a struggling Zlatan didn't help matters. Without Mata we really struggle to create which is a worry, Mkhitaryan though in the next month could help ease that. Other worry is that our attackers are struggling for goals, Martial hasn't scored from open play since Stoke, Rashford since Leicester, Zlatan is 7 games and counting, the positive is we did find the net today and Rooney was the one on the scoresheet. Mata is our most in form attacker and he was sat on the bench today.
Mourinho was hoping something would just click tonight but it didn't, on the flip side he was at least positive with his subs and introduced Mata but again it was all too congested. Yes we got caught on the counter a few times but that's the risk you take so no issue with that.

So we've learnt we're even more inconsistent and disconnected than we thought possible. Slamming indictment from the manager, so he's aware of it all....
ho-hum, we're in for a grind for a while. Again.

Aye, we've been saying it for the past three seasons. Exhausting isn't it? Grind indeed seems to be the word at the minute..

End of the day we should be getting more out of this team and more importantly this squad. Nobody expected it to be a bump free ride but it's bull to say we expected it to be like this either. And still.......we wait
