Watched the 1st half. i thought Australia played really well... Robbie Kruse in particular. Should be an entertaining final.
Didn't know Jason Davidson is Alan's son. Alan was a great player at Pahang.

yeah Jason is Alan's son The Roar have signed Luke Devere and serbian striker Andrija Kaluderović Devere is all class and him coming back to the roar would be good (especially if it gets Jade North out of the starting lineup, if Smith is gone, North had better be also) and we needed a striker, he has a good background and played for Thun last and has played for some decent clubs, hopefully he is at least a good striker as for a manager, Clarence Seedorf is available, not likely but hey, the dutch roots may help

The Jets are in full crisis mode and are probably on the verge of being taken over by the FFA from that fat shit Nathan Tinkler (he's basically the Mike Ashley of Australia, just now he's broke more or less)
Jets have sacked assistand Clayton Zane, goalkeeper coach Neil Young and Strength and Conditioning Coach Andrew Packer Also 5 players have been sacked (Joel Griffiths, Kew Jaliens, Billy Celeski, David Carney and Adrian Madaschi)
all those players are decent enough, could at least make it on the bench of any a-league team. some of these players could look towards malaysia also (Kew and/or Joel) Celeski will be taken back at the victory in a heartbeat, pretty certain of that, any team would be happy to get him. The wanderers need to get some players, city need some defenders, roar could use griffiths as a backup striker (cause solorzano is asking to be dropped), hell, carney would be an upgrade over steffanuto
As for the Jets, its a mess, Stubbins for the sake of everyone (himself included) needs to resign, no one benefits from him sticking around, he'll have an incredibly hard time getting a gig anywhere in the A-League ever again.

Zaquan adha is better imo. Why would Melbourne sign a 2nd rate player? He might be good in patches ... inconsistent in short. They sign him after playing 2 games? Crazy.

he's good in local leagues. S-league and M-League. I doubt he will fare well in the A-League. Do keep us updated on his performances.

just lol. can't we just a west, east split, east should get more spots though tbh, east + Oceania should get 3 and west should get 1.5 (cause quiet frankly none of them apart from iran have a hope of qualifying for the world cup)

UAE have clinched the bronze medal after defeating Iraq 3-2 in the 3rd Place playoff. They've really looked impressive in recent times and have proved themselves to be a legitimate powerhouse in Asian football, they could even qualify for Russia 2018. Omar Abdulrahman should be looking to move to Europe, he definitely has the ability to suceed there. And the final is today, Spens.....

Australia 2-1 South Korea (ET) YEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY feels so so good, we da best Crowd: 76 835 (full house basically given the AFC regulations) but anyway, we've won the ASIAN CUP. after 2011's agony (ironically david carney has just been released from the jets also) we have won the cup for the first time against a brilliant south korean team, the whole tournament they have been the standard, just that today, the guys out their showed what it meant to wear that green and gold and call themselves socceroos. This will go down as one of the greatest moments in Australian Sporting History no doubt. To win the asian cup on home soil in front of a sell out crowd. This will go a long way towards taking football in Australia to even more dazzling heights and taking it to be the number 1 sport in Australia

though Kruse is out for a year. i feel bad for him. oh and leverkusen and Roger Schmidt are probably going to be hurling abuse at Postecoglu for injuring him for a year (then again they're big enough to buy another player)
oh yeah, Sepp Blatter got booed (was most glorious, lets just say our vote will not be going to him for his election) this is why we should be hosting the world cup in 2022, if this asian cup hasn't shown that, i don't know what will
ref was fucking shit, honestly this stupid prick, they really tried to rig the game, how blind are you, you make ben williams look like a freaking demi god, he deserves to be fucking beaten senseless the dumbass
fun fact: we're the only country to ever hold the champions league title and asian cup title in the same year apparently (i was surprised actually, i would have thought japan or south korea would have done it at least once)

Not a chance Australia would get the 2022 Cup ahead of the US.

after 32 games of the asian cup
we had gotten 649 705 people through the gates at an average of 20 303 per game, think that puts us just behind china and south east asia in terms of average attendance
