Hull up next, who won yesterday and have a perfect record in the league so far including that win against the champions. I'm expecting a similar game to that with Hull sitting behind the ball and breaking on the counter. In the past we've struggled with encounters like this and failed to break teams down but with the options we have now it should be different this time round. De Gea Valencia - Bailly - Blind - Shaw Fellaini - Pogba Micky - Rooney - Martial Ibra
Just the one change from previous matches with Micky coming in for Mata, we just need to see him in action, had a good cameo against Soton and now it's time to unleash him. The only other change to deliberate is whether Smalling comes back in and if so does he replace Bailly/Blind, it wouldn't surprise me if Jose brought him back in alongside Daley with the Derby coming up. I'd also like to see Rashford getting some minutes with that match in mind as well.

Yup, agree with that line up Dave, I'd also like to see Schneiderlin given a few minutes but I'm not bothered

These are the sort of games I worried about under LVG but under Mourinho and with this side I think we're well set to start dealing with these lower table sides a lot easier. There's so much power and athleticism in this side now and players who aren't scared to battle it out if they need to.
3-0 United. Zlatan to score another brace.

We'll lose eventually, it's bound to happen, but that's the best part - I can't see it for the foreseeable future

Not majorly disappointed considering our 2 wins but I'd like to have seen Mickey start, my usual grumble about Fellaini and in this one I would of liked to have seen Memphis in for Martial. Nice to see that at least Mou seems to know his best 11 or at least his most effective. Not like that other fuckwit who still didn't know his best 11 after 2 years.

These type of games suit Fellaini though, not usually easy on the eye and scrappy.
Will you ever be happy to see Fellaini in the team?

Will you ever be happy to see Fellaini in the team? Nope  First hour or so we were a bit pedestrian but I'd give a lot of credit to Hull for defending well rather than us not trying. Once Mickey came on the game changed. Mata didn't have a bad game but Mickey is a lot more direct and dynamic, then once Rashford came on we looked a completely different team yet again. Good substitutes from Mou that worked to perfection. Time to say I was wrong about Bailly. He's a beast and looks like he's played there for years. So composed on the ball. Going to be hard for Smalling to get back into the team which is how it should be. Best squad I've seen us have for a long time. We really do have riches in all areas. Title winning squad if ever I've seen one

I could smell it. Even in stoppage time I thought we'd nick it. Rooney was pretty terrible all game but that one moment won it for us, superb play from him. Just need to get him playing for the first 90 minutes.

Oh and Bailly continues to look like an absolute beast and with Blind looking so good at the side of him I don't expect Smalling to get back into this side anytime soon and why should he?

Why upset the apple cart just yet, let him get a foot hold and game time, let the partnership flourish a bit, there'll be a natural dip soon enough. Plenty of games to go round this season too. Mike will be fine and it should spur him on.
Great pic here..

Great win, in what was our best performance so far. Completely dominant from start to finish, controlled the game alright Hull were happy to concede possession but our use of the ball was good, the interchanging and link up of players. Ibra although failed to get on scoresheet first half was very good, he has some beautiful touches.
As has been said Bailly and Blind were excellent, tougher tests to come but at the moment Smalling has his work cut out to get back in. Two brilliant cameos from Marcus and Micky, they changed the game, direct and dynamic in their play. Rooney with a nice assist at the end as well.
Hull were superb, made it hard work, snuffed out Ibra through the middle expertly and were unlucky not to get the point. Very gracious in defeat which I didn't expect where as I'd have been pissed. Phelan doing an excellent job.
