The passion on the sidelines definitely needs to be restored. One of my gripes with LVG is that regardless of what happens good or bad on the pitch he just sits there scribbling and fixing his hair. That lack of visible passion is mirrored on the pitch with the players it seems. Should we ever be in a position where we are nervous about beating a team like Bournemouth? The nerves are from what is riding on the game, but we should never be in this position and should be expecting nothing other than the three at home to a team like that. Swansea have been playing well in the last four or five games and picked up some good results while scoring a nice few goals along the way, it depends on whether City turn up or not, if they do then they are capable of stuffing Swansea, but let's hope they are in holiday mode again tomorrow.

Exactly Brendan. The lack of passion on the sidelines wouldn't be as much of an issue if we were great on the pitch. But when we're playing like a heap of steaming turd and he just sends Giggs to the technical area to have a little chat with someone it isn't half infuriating to see. Even in Fergie's final years he went to the touchline less but when he needed to he was there and if he wasn't he had Phelan who used to show more passion than Giggs does.
I really don't think I can cope with another year of this shit. It's not about winning the league, although I genuinely believe if we'd brought Jose in round about Xmas we'd have run Leicester close this season. It's about enjoying watching us again and feeling like the players and manager care about what's happening as much as we do.
LVG has done absolutely nothing to deserve the job for his final year. I love the bloke but he's a good 7/8 years too late for the Premier League. Woodward needs to man up, admit this hasn't worked out and get Mourinho in.
Truth is I don't particularly want Mourinho, he's a huge risk and despite having the ability to make us contenders again he has the ability to also blow up in catastrophic proportions. But the club has backed themselves into this situation of him being the only choice because they've just been run appallingly since Fergie/Gill left. No fucking plan at all. Too slow to make decisions. We should've been all in for the likes of Klopp, Pep, Ancelotti but we're too conscious and arrogant of maintaining this bollocks reputation of not sacking managers. City went about the Guardiola appointment in the complete wrong way and the way they've treated pellegrini is atrocious but they made a decision to bring in one of the best managers in the world a long time ago. Bayern know Pep is leaving so what do they do? Get Ancelotti in ASAP. Fuck.....even the Scousers sacked a manager who got them as close to the title as they've been in years and brought in Klopp pretty sharpish.
I really hope we're just being classy and waiting until after the cup final to make a decision and announce what's happening because I really can't comprehend that we're going to give Louis another season.

Well here we are, last game of the PL season.
I've just read the first few pages of the LVG thread and I can't believe how big of a difference there is in opinion from then to now and it feels like United have watched this entire season go past them, without putting their foot in. It's a real shame, because with the players we have available we could do much better.
Like Jamie said, I'm hoping we'll get some news after the Crystal Palace match, because the spineless team we've seen this year can't be the one that represents United next season

Simply wonderful. Now we'll have to wait to see whether we're 5th or 6th. One positive out of the day - at least this season is over (top 4 challenge wise anyway)
