Credit to van gaal for making that Herrera sub. He passed the ball to Martial before the goal

And credit to Herrera for having the presence of mind to get his foot in to salvage the move. Ideal sub really, and Fellaini didn't disgrace himself again. Good day at the orifice all round!

Credit to Herrera for dragging Barkley to the ground as well and taking one for the team. Cheating it may be but it's fucking common sense and something not enough of our players seem willing to do. It must be the cheating Spanish cunt in him.
Heck of a game. I don't know whether it was just because it was a cup semi but I've not enjoyed a game so much in a long time.
We were absolutely outstanding in the first half. Rooney ran the game, spraying balls left, right and centre. Creating chances and was generally just outstanding, as were the whole team. The 2nd was disappointing. We allowed them to get back into the game and for me LVG waited far too late to bring Herrera on, we were losing the midfield battle all the 2nd half and it took until the 85th minute for him to make a change. The ref was a fucking tool though, that peno was beyond ridiculous, superb tackle by TFM, who unfortunately got taken off because of it in my opinion.
The front 3 were a threat all afternoon, even when Everton got more into it in the 2nd half. Lingard has to sort his decision making out though. He actually had a really good game but fluffed his lines far too much when in good areas. I still think he really helps the team with his energy and his eagerness to move forward but I want to start seeing him being more composed in the final 3rd.
What is there to say about Martial and Rashford that we don't know already? The future is bright if these 2 keep progressing at the rate they are. They play like experienced, seasoned pro's. Both rarely lose possession and are excellent at holding the ball and bringing others into play. Martial in particular was fantastic today. Setup the 1st, then started and finished the 2nd in emphatic style. Just think about that winning goal for a second. First season in a foreign country where you don't know the language, first season at the biggest club in the world, 1st season in a tough league and your first competitive game at one of the most famous stadiums in world football in one of the best and most well known domestic cup competitions in the world. It all comes so naturally to him and he looks like he doesn't feel any pressure.
Just a brilliant day and it was great to see how much it all meant to the players as well. Seeing the passion of the whole team but in particular the young guys running into the crowd made me happy. We've suffered through a lot of shit the last 3 seasons but finally might get to celebrate something at the end of the season.
I'd like to see us win it for the manager as well. Not because I think he deserves it with his performance here but because he's been a superb manager in his career. It'd be nice to see him go out on a relative high and take away a little bit of the sourness fans feel towards him by leaving us with the memory of winning our first FA cup in over 10 years.
The final won't be easy. Palace/Watford will be as up for it as much as us and anything can happen in 1 off games but you have to fancy us. It'll be a huge fucking blow to go and lose this final now. We won't if we play like we did today though, or like we did at West Ham.

Oh yeah. Dave.. Nuff said. Absolute fucking god. That penalty was a really well struck peno. Where would we be without this guy? Best keeper in the world hands down.

Well said. Even more so than Martial, just think Rashford is 18 years old in a semi final and he ran that show for the front three. He was a duck to water, never seen a youngster with that much confidence, the backheel move with Lingard was glorious and his all round game fantastic. Shame he didn't score but I guess he's saving himself for the final Where as Timbo looked nervy to me but grew into the game, wasn't a penalty for me but then he gave away the free kick after and lost his way somewhat so right to come off, he'll for sure learn from the experience. LVG pretty much said it wasn't a peno after the game so doubt it was punishment, though he didn't need to dive in. Lingard is so frustrating, works hard, great movement and link up play but his decision making and finishing is really letting him down, he needs to improve or I fear for him next season. Needs goals in his game if he wants to become a regular, the positive thing is he is getting into those positions so hopefully they will come. Rooney, Carra and co were good as well I the first half. Fellaini for all his critics caused them problems, scored the all important first goal and that goal saving tackle on Lukaku, I've never seen him get back so quick. He might not be everyone's cup of tea but he gives his all for the club.

What a fantastic game of football. Feel lucky again to support United. Now get back in the CL, those youngsters deserve to play on the biggest stage
