If you right click on Dave's image >> View Image - look in the address bar and copy and paste it into the 'Insert Image URL' in the Maguire thread again , should work Can't right click. On a tablet. When I press a few seconds on the photo the options I have are open image in new tab, download image, search Google for this image or share image. Tried downloading to see if the url appears. No joy. I could post a video in the Maquire thread only because when I long pressed the option copy video url appeared which I could then insert.

Probably, I'll have to dig out the android tablet and charge it and see what the options are on it.

If I use the google search app from the play store and type 'Harry Maguire', hit enter and then tap the 'Images' tab obviously a lot of Maguire pictures show up from the hundreds of newspaper articles.
If I tap on a random image I get the newspaper headline but no image due to copyright, long tap the blank space where the image should be and it gives me options to 'Visit', 'Download', 'Share'.
Tap 'Visit' and it transfers you to the newspaper article with the image now visible (no copyright). Long tap the image there and it gives a lot more options but one of them is 'Open Image'. Select it and look at the URL in the address bar at the top >> Long tap on that, select 'Copy' and a message at the bottom comes up saying 'Copied'
From there I can paste the URL into this forums dialgue box options no problem.
So it probably depends on what you use to browse the web with on a tablet, cause each app will probably give you different options. I'll try one of the main browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera) in a bit to see how convoluted it is, that google search app is bad enough.

Thanks Ed. Guess it's copyright. Tried what you said, open image then long press address bar, insert/add image but I had 5 lines of gibberish come up. For the above image I went to a different site where it let me copy link and I could add image no problem. Didn't have this problem before. Wonder whats changed?

Easy way round it all is download the image to your device and upload it straight to an image host app and use the bbcode links they provide for forums - literally just copy the code provided put it in this forums reply box and it's automatically picked up, image just shows up. I'm testing one out later I like the look of, simple, no strings etc.

Tried doing that with Google photos and drop box. No joy. I'll get there in the end
