It felt like we were out after the away defeat but yesterday thought we just need a 1-0 win like Brendan pointed out.
I am not worried about this game, we will go through if they dont score, we will win this easily. Cant see them holding out for a 0-0 draw, just dont give them a goal and we are through.

Not getting carried away, as like Shrewsbury these guys are pretty shite. But that was more fucking like it. Showed so much character to come back from going a further goal behind and scoring 5. Never stopped attacking until the final whistle, which is what we all want to see.
Controlled the game and there were some great performances but the main talking point is obviously Rashford bagging an important brace on his debut. Always been talented and even though this has all come a bit soon for him it didn't look it. I thought he looked a handful all night.
Memphis was outstanding and the best player on the pitch. Where the fuck has this guy been all season? Lets hope this is the moment he kicks on now and shows exactly what he's made of.

That was quite the game  I was laughing pretty much through the whole lot of it. United haven't been providing me with many of these moments lately.

Happy that we are through albeit mediocre opposition, but same has to be said about Memphis vs mediocre opposition. The jury is still out, but he has improved his status tonight.

Fecking brilliant. Some great performances tonight, even after all the injuries and setbacks we looked in the mood from the off. We responded well to going a goal down against the run of play, showed great character for a youngish side. Dominated them, attacked with urgency and positivity, all the youngsters played their part, a special day for Rashford but it was Memphis who led the charge, brilliant display from him. Even at 3-1 we kept attacking, LVG didn't shut up shop and made like for like changes which was great to see. Into the next round we go. Bring on the gooners!

Looking at our opponents. These guys knocked out Southampton over 2 legs. Now if we beat Southampton 5-1, everyone would be raving about the performance. Credit where credit is due, especially with such an injury hit side.

Gets interesting now with very few easy pickings left in the competition. Probably back onto the level of most teams that we'd expect to come across in the Champions League groups or last 16 of same.
Draw tomorrow at 12pm UK time

Rashford was very good on his debut and Memphis played really well and lead the team forward but the player that impressed me mostly was Riley... He is so good technically and looks like he can dribble and very useful going forward. I enjoyed that game and the amount of chances that where created I hope Memphis can kick on and and be better...
