Not sure that this is where I should post this.
I will be only an ocassional visitor to the forum for awhile. My wife of 48 years has Motor Neurons Disease and I need to give her all my Physical and Emotional support so I cannot concentrate as before.

I'm very sorry to hear this Oomtom, it must be an incredible strain on you both. Remember to drop in any time you want and you can always take a load off here, sometimes it's easier to speak into the internet ether. The club and forums are dead, and deadly, to be around at the moment for obvious reasons. They'll pick up again eventually, and I'm usually around if I see someone needs to vent / talk, or is struggling in general. I'll move the post to the 'good members we miss' thread in ' Miscellaneous', after you've replied. And if you want to chat / talk / whatever stick it on there and folk can make a beeline for it. Remember, you are not on your own or isolated.  |

I'm afraid not, unless he dropped Dave an email which I'm not aware of. TBH I wasn't expecting it for a good while yet, if at all. It's a mammoth lifestyle change to adjust to and being married for 48 years is going to be beyond mentally punishing for him, you just hope he's got the right support around him.

Hey, didn't really know where to post since it's been a while. (Also kinda disappointed that I'm not mentioned in the "good members we miss" but oh well. You guys suck..still ). Just wanted to stop by and say hi, hope you're all doing well... unlike United. Oomtom I'm sorry to hear about your wife, uncle Tom. But surely heaven is a better place for having her now. After all she put up with your bullshit for quite some time  Hopefully I'll be able to join you some time for one of our atrocious performances but we'll see, life's kinda crazy right now Cheers |
