Not for me.. I like tennis but golf is comfortably the closest challenger to football for being my favourite sport. With Tennis either Djokovic, Federer, Nadal or Murray have to be playing for me to be interested. With golf I'll watch any old shite.
The Irish Open is normally anything but shite though.

Yeah, he played well today to be honest. Tee to green he was very good but missed a host of chances in the opening 9 holes. I thought he'd make the cut when he got to +7 but that double bogey sealed his fate.
Not impressed with him on the whole the last 2 weeks though. Mcilroy is a superb golfer and has the ability to destroy fields like Tiger did but he's yet to prove he's in Woods' class when he was at the top of his game. I can't imagine Woods missing 2 cuts in a row in such poor fashion when he was in his pomp.
It's not all about Rory anyway, the tournament in itself has been a joy to watch the last 2 days, they need to hold an Open Championship here in the near future, true golfing test.
Good to see overrated Rickie playing well again as well.

Brilliant weekend of sport. Current watching the Aviva Premiership final. I love me some rugby. Then FA Cup, followed by Rule Brittania.

American Beauty. I'm only half an hour through and I feel as if it epitomises almost everything wrong about America's social state.

I was probably exaggerating too much, but watching it is still depressing... a bored, disillusioned suburban man, with a phony materialistic wife and an insecure daughter, both hating his guts... archetypal dysfunctional family. And this crazily vain girl who tries to pass off as some man slayer, and a ridiculous army guy who controls his son..... it's a great movie, but all these factors just make it quite bleak.

Murray v Ferrer at the French Open. Murray has been in great form, looks to have a good chance of winning this but he's not got a good record vs Ferrer on clay, although he had never beaten Nadal on the surface until a few weeks ago either!

Wigan v Saints. Hell of a rugby match, sport at its finest.
