He'll stay till the end. Pointless Mourinho stepping in right away because 1) why get your hands dirty at this stage 2) that means sacking VG mid contract and he would prefer to resign with some dignity, board will grant him that, unless something stellar happens. Giggs will leave now Mourinho is coming and he won't care-take in the interim, no reason for him to. So best to just let things ride out. all dignity is pretty much gone for Van Gaal unfortunately now that its public, its a question of when now moreso than if

I don't think we have a choice now as much as some may not like/want him and his style of management than to give Mourinho the job. We are in a tight spot with no other top managers available today, Klopp at Liverpool, Pep at City as well as Wenger's Arsenal and the way Spurs and Leicester have improved drastically, not forgetting Chelsea will be back in the frame next term. We need to get out of this slump as fast as we can even if it is a short-term solution of two or three seasons and get back to winning and being a threat to teams again because that two or three seasons could make all the difference if we don't and we are in danger of being left behind both competitively and financially by the others in our section of the league if we dawdle and hope someone else is gonna turn it around. For this reason alone I would let Mourinho in. Who knows, he may want to stay longer, but the next couple of seasons are crucial to the club at the moment I think and he is the only one available of enough stature who has the ability to halt any further decline.

I do not fancy Mourinho because of his style of play, his antics, lack of youth development and the burned earth he leaves behind him. Given the lack of opportunities and the short term success we need I could live with that. Its important that we get into the CL on a regular basis and I think Mou is capable of achieving that over the next years. In general I like Pochettino but doubt he'd be availble to us in the summer.

Mourinho won't allow the youth to play the first team.

You know, I don't think that's true. United have a very strong tradition in playing youngsters so I don't think they will hire Mourinho if he's not going to keep up with the it

If it's written into the job description when he signs on the dotted line then he's obliged to do it, so with a bit of luck they've tied him to it. Otherwise he won't.
VG has only done it to the extent he has because of injuries.

I prefer LVG than Mourinho.

You may be right. There's been noises all season that Ronaldo could be on his way to PSG so I don't think that has much to do with Mou but Ramos certainly. Just signed a new contract and the only reason I could think of if he did put in a request would be if Mou was to become their manager again. Can't see Perez being that stupid but with him you'd never know.

Wouldn't mind this but with pocchetino instead of mou. It hasn't worked with LVG but he has put all of the ground work for the future that we will be thanking him for 3 or 5 years down the line.

I'd like this, though it did take him ages to turn Spurs around, though he actually did it, so i wonder how long the rebuild here for him will take
