I am happy that we got Liverpool TBH. LVG has always done well against Liverpool and I expect that to continue.
Lets Smash them.

Don't get me wrong, it's not the elite European competition but most of those names wouldn't look out of place in the last 16 of the Champions League. I think it's time this tournament was treated with a little more respect. Regardless of the added incentive of it getting us into the Champions League we should want to win the trophy anyway.

I think it's time this tournament was treated with a little more respect You're only saying this because we're in it Honestly, I don't care at all about the Europa League. Sure it does have some great teams at the final stages, but I'm not gonna sit and watch Krasnodar vs Sparta Prague. But United are in it, so yayyyy Europa league. Also, I was kinda hoping we'll meet Liverpool at the final, but I guess that would do. Dortmund and Valencia look like the possible contestants to the title

I think sides like us are obviously not as excited about it because we expect to be in the Champions League but I don't get it when slightly lesser sides play understrength sides and don't try to win it. Spurs are doing alright in the league this season, so don't need it but why wouldn't a side like them want to win it?
They're going for it a bit more this season but in the past they haven't.

Trafford Council has asked for the kick-off time of Manchester United's Europa League last-16 second leg against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Thursday, 17 March to be moved. The game is due to start at 18:00 GMT but the council has concerns about an early kick-off on St Patrick's Day and wants a 20:00 GMT start. United also reportedly favour moving the kick-off.
The first leg at Anfield is on Thursday, 10 March, at 20:05 GMT.

Yes Good News. Manchester United's Europa League clash against Liverpool has been put back two hours after fury over their early kick-off. The second leg was due to kick-off at 6pm but has been moved to 8.05pm United were worried about fans having trouble getting to the ground early United made the request for the match to be switched from 6pm on March 17 and Trafford Council penned a letter requesting the same on safety grounds.
